Thank you for sharing your yarn room. The index card is a great idea. I have yarn everywhere! I need to get it all in one room. 😃💕
You can do it!
Thank you for taking the time to share your yarn room with us and it's nice to see how real you are! As for me being tidy, Well!🤔 I have yarn just about in every room in totes. boxes and bags. but I know where ever thing is! Oh and I love the idea of the index card! that's so cool!🙂
At least you know where everything is! I would definitely call that organized lol.
Thanks for the tour! Love the baby blanket. 👶
Thanks!!
Your room looks good. Question for you. Why do you take all your ball bands off?
Thanks Cyndy! I usually crochet with the yarn from the outside rather than using the center pull.
Do you keep your yarn stash tidy or is it a little bit all over the place like mine?
Love how genuine you are.
My yarn is mostly in big Rubbermaid bins. Some are still in their original shipping boxes, however they have the patterns with the yarn that I bought so I remember why I bought it in the first place. I have my craft/sewing space in our basement and it is too cold in the winter for me so I bring up some yarn. This year I have started only with working on 2 big projects at a time, but allowing myself to work on a smaller project in between so I can get that satisfaction of a quick win when I need it. So far I am doing good with that. I have so many WIP'S that I think they may outlive me. Lol Thanks for sharing and for being real. Oh and your idea of keeping your hooks in a Mason jar on your desk, brilliant! I say that because I do the same. Lol, only in the cold Michigan winters, I bring my hooks upstairs with me. Lol. And mine are in little dollar store metal buckets that I bought back in 2020 when my son graduated from high school. When we had his, very small, outdoor, grad party we kept the utensils in the little buckets. I had kept them because my nephew will be graduating in 2023 and my youngest son will be 2027. I figured we could reuse them, especially because they were metal.
