    Hello @ArchiGraph, thank you for the video. It was very helpful. I'm an Architecture Student and looking to learn Adobe programs such as Illustrator and photoshop. Do you provide any group courses or one-on-one lessons for the program? Please let me know, I'm looking to start the lessons within a week or so.. Illustrator and photoshop have great potential, sometimes even more than modelling software. I'd love nothing more than to be good at both these programs.
    Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
    Thank you again!

    How to make your vector lines look like it's drawn via pencil? I know people use the roughen tool but would be interesting to see if you could break it down!

    • @archigraph_
      @archigraph_  3 года назад +1

      In these images all the lines are still vectors. I don't apply any filters or effects to make them look like a pencil. You could change the linetype to a 'pencil' brush to achieve that effect if you desired

    this is great stuff man, any chance u do a full AI tutorial for arch ppl, cant find anything like that online
    just a lot of tips and tricks, and learning the whole program for couple of things seems like a lot, or is it worth it?

    • @archigraph_
      @archigraph_  3 года назад +1

      Hey, this is definitely something I can do. Do you need a tutorial covering how to learn the program from start to finish? Illustrator is definitely a program that is important for Architects/designers. Its used more for presentation graphics than technical items, and definitely used heavily while you are at university, but I still use it at least once a week at work. Just let me know what you need and I will try make some videos on it. Cheers!

      @@archigraph_ well i do see a lot of diagrams like mass diagrams or conceptual diagrams that are made on illust so i would love to learn that
      but as I've never used illust before i really do not know what other uses it can provid for me as an arch student
      so is it possible to show in what ways illust can help architects
      and if the diagram creating thing is easy i would really love to learn that

    Did u have to use "image trace" with your plan or was it already exported as a " Dwg " file ?

    • @archigraph_
      @archigraph_  3 года назад +2

      No. Never have to use image trace. Plan would have come out of Autocad, and imported into Illustrator as either a PDF or DWG. I reccomend PDF's, as they are easy to work with.

      Hi! If you are asking about PC Specifications: CPU i7-8700k, 48GB DDR4 Ram, 2x1080ti Graphics, everything installed on SSD. You only need 16-32gb Ram, and Graphics card is not too important.

    • @archigraph_
      @archigraph_  3 года назад +2

      Hey there. I wouldnt reccomend doing all your architecture drawings in AI. But it is very good for making simple drawings, or concept plans look great. It is used commonly with an architecture program like autocad.
