I really feel like I've hit a goldmine by finding your channel today. I am a beginner programmer who wanted to learn some design to help ease the learning process with JavaScript a little and your videos have made Illustrator go from being an absolutely frustrating tool for a newb like myself to something that is actually very fun to use. Thank you so much for being there for newbies like myself.
That was the BEST illustrator shortcut tutorial I’ve ever seen! I’ve been a professional designer to long to mention & use illustrator every day! & you taught me some things I never knew… thank you!
WOW!! So many new features I didn't know, thank you for sharing! I also love how quick and simple your tutorials are. So helpful and a time-saver! And finally I know how to get the exact color instead of gradient
Hey! Dansky. I'm a beginner at graphic design and I find your videos really precise and helpful. I'm grateful for your service. Thanks for sharing and Good Luck!🙏
Same here. Literally Im always impressed how much I learn from a single video of this guy. The other channels are great too but Dansky is another level. He rocks.
I've been using Illustrator since the 90s and was amazed to find a good few tips here that I never knew. Thanks Dansky - another top notch video! Keep them coming
Nah bro you are a king ! Thanks x100.. in real we are lazy.. because every little shortcut is so easy to find 🙏🏼 thanks for the tips and to giving me.the motivation to go to search also by myself 🙏🏼 réal king
Trust me this video is God level for me, actually iam new to graphic design community and I saw some tutorials from other youtubers but thay didn't teach me this tricks and than I was searching in software from myself than I saw this video. Everything changed, love you so mxx
Perspective grid shortcut to turn it on and off is Command-Shift-I / CTRL-Shift-I Thank you for the tips. The one with the color picker is cool and will save me some nerves :)
I'm a university student semi-formally learning Illustrator. (Not part of my program, but learning it for extracurriculars.) And let me tell you, the sheer number of things in this video that made my jaw drop are astounding. So many tricks I wish I knew earlier, and not really things you learn unless you see something like this. Thanks for the video. These are gonna make my life so much easier

Hey Dan, I've spent, literally, countless HOURS over the years moving around my artboards manually!!! I had no idea (probably didn't think to look tbh lol) that AI had this artboard setting!! This is all good stuff!!! Thanks!
26 - You can also exit the isolated area with one click :D, by clicking on the "gray tape" (sorry, not sure how to describe it better) where the Layer 1-Group-Compound Path are. Great tips as always Dansky!
This is so helpful, especially with the perspective grid, sampling just a color from an existing gradient and double-clikcking anywhere on the workspace to exit a group
Wow!! This is a goldmine of great tips,🤩🤩🤩 my head feels like it's going to explode trying to keep up with the video😆 but definitely saving to refer back to later! Thank you sir!!
Thank you Dansky... there is a couple of info there that I certainly did not know of... and that bloody perspective grid omg I have been there and I certainly go nuts lol
Perfect sense of humour. clear to the point and skilled. When an individual know what they are doing they make their profession look easy. Top notch. When attempting to cut a straight line with the knife tool I can not press Ctrl + shift + Alt. This just gives me the direct selection tool and the knife is deselected. I can do none straight curves just fine but I have to double click to select. Its rather annoying..Grrrr.
Great tips! Few remarks. The resolution of images is in ppi, not in dpi. Images are in pixels, not in dots. The shortcut for zooming is Ctr/Cmd+Space bar and goes nicely with a space bar for hand tool.
Been meaning to comment for a long time but never got around to it. Really great videos. Thanks. I am a business owner who also needs to use essentials of Ai, Ps and Id, so your videos are extreemy helpful. Whoever at Adobe made the perspective tool so difficult to actually close should be in a straight jacket. Thanks for including that one.
Extra one if you have an object on top of another and you want to select the object that is behind, select the top object, then click control/command and click with your mouse on a location that you know the behind object is, this also works for indesign
@@ForeverDansky yeah it is, my university teacher works for adobe and when she told us that we all went like :O a so easy things that no one ever thought about ahhaha
