I test drove a 2024 Frontier Pro-4x. Solid rig. Reminds me of our previous 2007 Xterra & 2009 Pathfinder. Both were bought brand new & never gave us issues. Just routine maintenance.
I'm not a fan of the Frontier, I'm a Raptor guy personally. But i absolutely love the way your truck looks dude. The stance, tire size, lift...its perfect.
Come test your truck against a Raptor, ZR2 and FJ and a few other trucks. Jumping, dragracing sand and dirt road and Baja running. It's gonna be a blast. 30th 10am if you like I will send you info.
Hey, that’s showbiz baby…🤣 Somthing bad did happen. My alternator took a dump. I replaced it today. It was a biiitch..but it’s done now. Ready to go back to the mud 😜
I like seeing the different vehicles. Go through these obstacles it's awesome! Love your friend to your hope to get one soon! Greetings from alberta canada!
I enjoy my 22 but seems like the vq38 engines are pretty noisy, I get the DI noise but also seems like they have a metallic lower noise as well. Seems like they all do it though.
Awesome video once again! Was wondering if you ever thought of installing a front facing camera mod similar to the Pro 4X Frontier. Thanks for sharing brother! 👍
You guys ever go on roads with tight turns and switchbacks. I ask because the Gen 2 Frontier turning radius is really bad, and those would a real pain for your Gen 2 buddies. My Gen 2 was awesome, but the turning radius really sucked.
Tacoma had a way better turning radius last gen but from what I’ve read, the new bigger Tacomas wheelbase and track width minimum turning radius is 22.1. FT. The 2nd and 3rd gen frontier have the same exact turning radius at 21.67 ft. I think last gen was 19-20 something feet. So I guess the turning radius is worse on the new Tacoma vs frontier, now.
Have you towed anything yet I’ve been looking at them on line and how do you think someone over 6 feet tall would fit haven’t been to a lot yet to see one nearest dealer is a little ride and haven’t seen any driving around
@@kurtgreen1040 yup. Here’s a video I did a while back. I’m 5’10 and fit fine. I’m sure you’ll have plenty of room. ruclips.net/video/7x1drYTa6K8/видео.htmlsi=T7uxoYeVmZYR-Ei8
Haha the title wasn’t Clickbait. My truck is dead….Going through that last mud hole was a bad idea…. And I’m definitely not above Clickbait titles. 😂. It’s pretty difficult coming up with a title in a thumbnail that will intrigue your interest without flat out lying to you. Especially when you’re looking at it in the sea of the Bajillion of other videos RUclips suggest to you…
@@4wdAdventurzI can only speak from experience as a jeep person, so your mileage may vary, but... From what I hear, it can vary by dealership. Some are more "off road friendly" than others. It also depends on what broke, exactly. If you break a CV Axle because you have a big lift and bigger tires, they'll almost certainly refuse to warranty it. I've even heard of dealers trying to not pay things like engine work because of the additional strain caused by big tires. Sometimes bringing up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act helps - basically, the law says they _have_ to warranty it, and the burden of proof that a modification caused a failure elsewhere is on them. It may be an uphill battle, tho - just because the law says they have to do something doesn't mean they'll actually do it. So if you break a tie rod because you have a lift and big tires, that's definitely not covered. But if your electrical system is completely stock with no mods (auxiliary lights, winches, whatever) and your stereo goes out, they can't say a lift caused that. Basically, it's about as clear as mud.
@backwoodstherapy probably varies. With my dealer here in BC Canada he said the warranty for any suspension etc work would only be voided if they could prove that the suspension lift was the main cause of the failure. It wouldn't void any motor warranty
@@briskhockey you're in a different country, so your laws are different than the US. However, I have heard some people say that even Jeep will only warranty engine work up to 35" tall tire, due to the engine having to work so much harder to push 37s, 38s, etc. Obviously, different countries, different manufacturers, different stykes of vehicles. There are forums that actually track things like "off road friendly " dealers who are more likely to warranty work.

I’ve no issues with this truck (that wasn’t self inflicted. Haha). It’s been solid as it gets 👍🏻

Love any time that many Nissans are rolling together 😊

Another great video. It’s always cool seeing you guys out there. And your truck is definitely goals for me. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks bubba. Thanks for watching.
Those 4.0L VQs, by themselves, sound awesome! The 3.8L with the Z1 exhaust sounds just as awesome! Keep up the Frontier content, man! Subscribed!

Its just spacers and blocks , whens the real suspension coming and the real off roading
I live in FL..lol...this is as "real" as it gets..
Just curious why the Bronco looked like it was struggling on that "sketchy" part you were on?
Yes! I wondered the same thing. I didn’t get to ask him. I left soon after that part.
@@4wdAdventurz I saw the problem... blue oval pos.
Thanks for sharing.
Awesome adventure! I have a 2020 Frontier but would love to get a manual Xterra!
They’re so hard to find. If you do, they are normally trashed.

Honest here isn’t much of that in FL. I’ve been on some in north GA and my 3rd gen doesn’t do well haha.

Did you remove your sub model tags or pay someone?
Been watching your videos since February. Bought my 24 sv long bed in may. Love it.
What do you mean my sub model tags? I appreciate you watching buddy!!

Ohhh. Yeah. I use to have the tailgating wrapped. A wrap to promote the channel. I took it off a while back..so now she’s naked..

Do you know if doing suspension upgrades will void warranties?
I don’t know for certain but I’m 99% it would. I’m sure the dealer would look for any reason to not honor the warranty.

If it's a dealer option suspension and they install it. It usually doesn't void
