I love that you show homes, neighborhoods, access, amenities and vibe. We visit Hawaii often so we know the good and the not so good about Oahu - btw, the good far outweighs the bad. The information you provide is real and helpful. Keep up the good work.
Mahalo for the positivefeedback!
Derek: This was a helpful video and it was much appreciated. Mahalo!
I'm a remote worker that moved from mainland to Kailua in 2020 (girlfriend's family from Kailua). Agreed that wifi speed is a key consideration that transplants from metro areas may not think of upfront. Kailua has a co-working space (Treehouse), though I've never used it
Treehouse is great, have been going there for a while
Hi Derek! Can you please do a video on the average rainfall amounts in Kailua vs Kaneohe? And the temperatures in the summer/winter. Locals experiences also would be great!
Mahalo!-
Gary
This was so incredibly helpful! I love your videos! Please keep them coming!
Thanks, Kimberly 🤙 We share a new video every week so keep your eyes on the horizon for more!
this is a very good video and so informative! I work from home in Oahu and this is spot on for information!
This was great! Mahalo!
Yes, please do a similar video on other islands. Mahalo!
Thanks for sharing this great information.
Glad it was helpful!
I came to Honolulu to work from home at a friend’s condo in Honolulu, and my employer told me to take 2 weeks that I’m here off..so WFH has turned into a vacation.
So many more opportunities are popping up for remote working options.
Great video! Mahalo!
Mahalo for watching
Amazing 👍
Mahalo Eric!
It's Diamondhead and Kahala all day everyday.... once the employer demand back to office 3-4 days a week, watch the Hawaii market correct itself.. 😆
When was this supposed to happen 😆
@@pauls7534 people are not being forced back into their office yet.
we started in Makakilo. our goal is one of those big houses with the view you mentioned.
Kumulani?
@@movingtohawaii a lil too fancy and expensive for us
@@thebestthingthatneverhappe6729 can we link up to discuss your goals and situation?
@@movingtohawaii we have an agent rn, we love the content you put out on youtube though, helps us dream bigger and plan appropriately. Mahalo Uncle D
@@thebestthingthatneverhappe6729 ahh sorry we missed you. If anything ever changes please let us know. Much aloha to you.
This is super helpful mahalo. One thing I’m curious to get your opinion is what if I want a space where there’s no kids, close to the beach, walkable, and kinda hip. Ward?
Ward all day. Kakaako too, but ward is fronting more accessible beach. Kakaako might fit the script of “hip” a little better. Little more “fair trade vegan” whereas Ward is a touch more pH balanced alkaline Voss… but both are amazing options and I am splitting hairs here
@@movingtohawaii thanks bro. I’ll be there in 2 weeks and I’m definitely gonna do some walking around and get a feel.
@@tevyetev let’s connect before you come. Are you moving here in two
Weeks or coming for a vaca?
@@movingtohawaii vacay but planning to start renting in June before I buy in a couple years
