Great info. Underprice a home in a down market is a preemptive strategy to move your property ahead of completion. If there is no bid, then they ask will go lower regardless of what you are selling.

Will prices condos in Hawaii Kai come down faster than Ala Moana? It seems that Hawaii Kai prices have been going up faster than Zip codes like 96815/96814?
Frank info on creating multiple buyers by an under market price is wisdom. It is a supply and demand proven strategy that does work. Inexperienced sellers do not always understand the osychology of buyers in a seller's market. I know what you say is true.
My intention is to create a non-profit that gives seminars and classes to shift the mindset of our local youth so they compete in the market rather than being pushed out. Short version is: - read rich dad poor dad - improve your value to the marketplace - work obsessively as if your life depends on it because it does….like Great Depression when parents left their kids behind and insane work ethic and poverty were normal… - save invest in assets - look back then years later and work to affect the youth

No way to know for sure but the supply in HK is lower so there’s more of a scarcity. In town there are so many options to choose from.
