Excellent analysis and spot on! I noticed that you have only referred to as what you were calling “first world“ problems. Being Hawaiian and living here as well as other states I have seen that there are actually some third world problems here as well. Many people come from third World countries in Asia and other parts of the globe. They come to live and work in Hawaii so they can make more money (and send the money back home rather than keeping it in Hawaii). Many of these groups stick to themselves and are antisocial when it comes to other groups of people. They do not want to bother learning English or Hawaiian language. They are simply trying to scalp the system. It is very sad. The Aloha spirit for the most part on Oahu is gone. I hear stories from family members about how Aloha used to be in the 70s and 80s and even before then. Hawaii is really going downhill very quickly. So sad. Another third world problem that we have is people coming from Third World countries like China. In this case, Chinese nationals are trying to “hide their money“ by purchasing homes. This leads to a lot of vacant homes like empty condos, empty apartments, and empty houses that people are just using as assets so they can stash their money. This causes a huge problem with the homelessness in Hawaii. This is especially sad when there are a lot of homeless Hawaiian people because the cost of housing is going through the roof offset by people coming from third word countries like these Chinese nationals.
@@movingtohawaii LMAO I was there once but never ever will return! Mainly because of the attitude of EVERYONE I encountered, from ABC stores to hotels.
Hello again, Kristina! You nailed it! Of course, every person has their own financial goals and plans that may not fit with someone else's. With that said, more often than not we see that our market does offer great investment opportunities.
Spectrum is the best for your ISP network router using coaxial cable such as the way a mainlander would use Xfinity as the carrier for Verizon for your television streaming. Here's the catch. When you take Spectrum on your iPhone to the Bay Area, and in my case, San Francisco, your phone data uploads, like short videos for Instagram and Facebook, get second tier status and your friends on Verizon in San Francisco get your text messages up to three hours late. If you text them on your 808 Spectrum iPhone, they may not get your text for days, unless you first share contact information close to each other and they DELETE YOUR OLD CONTACT PHONE NUMBER. In Waikiki, such that if you're in Ala Moana Park by Magic Island for the New Year's fireworks, or on Kuhio beach with lots of other people with phones, your speed can suffer a bit more than those with Verizon first tier. If you are a Verizon 5G person on your phone, keep it, and your 415 650 or 707 number. Then get Spectrum for your home Wifi and DO NOT GET THE BUNDLE. Repeat at least three times to the clerk at the Spectrum store YOU ONLY WANT INTERNET and get the high speed boost to up to 300mbps, if you have line of sight to the tower the signal is coming from, which is the black glass building near the Don Quixote store by Kalakaua and Kapiolani--you have great service. I lived on the third floor of a nine story building in a great condo on Beachwalk, but did not have line of sight with the tower by Kalakaua and Kapiolani behind the 24 hour fitness center and home internet and cell wifi sucked. T-Mobile shined me on, just like Spectrum. They will never be honest with you and use excuses like, "We're working on the tower." Total BS. Don't keep T-Mobile unless you are in a modern building where you can confirm with other residents! I have since moved to an inexpensive three story walk-up building without an elevator, and have three tall buildings of 20 stories or more on three of four sides, but because I am on Ala Wai Blvd., with no tall buildings blocking me from the golf course side to the north, across from the canal, I have free and clear fast internet. Just as good as MonkeyBrains in San Francisco. Police on Big Island voyeurism on the communities
how about everything?
That would be too long of a video 😂
@@movingtohawaii LMAO I was there once but never ever will return! Mainly because of the attitude of EVERYONE I encountered, from ABC stores to hotels.
@@ewnyMetroExpress sounds like you stayed in Waikiki, a global tourist trap.
@@movingtohawaii Yup, but the same experience extended to Kona and Hilo. It was unbelievable lol! Btw giant cockroaches were everywhere!!!!
@@ewnyMetroExpress I have to disagree on the average of people and culture, but def different strokes for different folks
I have been to Hawaii a few times and found the native Hawaiians very stuck up.
Plz don’t call to stay in fact don’t come. Aloha-
Get you a few cat they take care all the bugs
No thanks so freaking expensive! I love California
California can be great too. It’s like a whole country. Just depends on experience and situation. I love a lot of things about California as well.
Traffic!!!
Yes. It kinda sucks. Actually, we shot a traffic video from Hawaii Kai to the H1-H2 merge during afternoon traffic. Just for you guys!
If I was active duty and got BAH, there is NO way I would rent. I would buy for sure. BAH is high. Buying is the best investment esp in Hawaii.
Hello again, Kristina! You nailed it! Of course, every person has their own financial goals and plans that may not fit with someone else's. With that said, more often than not we see that our market does offer great investment opportunities.
BAH is $2900 and the average house is $1M. Saying BAH is high is a bit of a misnomer.
Why move here to whine about it ?? I assume you visited and speculated what it’ll take to live here ?…
Spectrum is the best for your ISP network router using coaxial cable such as the way a mainlander would use Xfinity as the carrier for Verizon for your television streaming.
