We have received literally hundreds of low-ball offers, scammers, and just stupid people making BS offers. Here's a nice sample of the idiots that have messaged us about trying to buy this Huracan.

I love it when people ask what you do for a living when the car your posting is from your dealership.

The “typical” Lamborghini buyer and Ferrari are wildly different. The income demographic may be similar but that’s where it ends.
The income demographic is not the same here in Europe.
Generally the Ferrari buyer tend to be a more "balanced" person. I've met a lot of immature Lamborghini owners that are in debt because of their cars. Are there Ferrari owners in this situation, yes, but they seem to be fewer and further between to say the least.

When someone offers a 100K, don't even respond to them. Quit texting with them. You cannot buy a Lambo by text! They need to pick up the phone and call you. Some of these people sound like they need to be spending their money on rehab.

Honestly sometimes it's difficult to tell if someone is actually a serious buyer. We've had some scammers play it off pretty good.

I’m sure it can be hard to tell at first, but I imagine it becomes clear pretty quickly. In my case, I walked into the dealership and told them I wanted to buy. They said ok, and took the $10k deposit for my order within 2 mins. I was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt, and they probably thought I was a tire kicker, but I suppose they’re told to take everyone seriously, just in case!
Mind blown. I couldn’t stop shaking my head during your video. Man you really have patience. Something any potential buyer should know before trying to buy something so expensive is to at least pretend they have a 6th grade education. The grammar of today’s society is sickening. I can’t even make it through the video without making comments…

Hey serious question tho, how do you calculate what the non-refundable down should be, say, per $100K of car, and for how long? Eg, how much $ down to hold a X $100K car for Y weeks?
There's no formula... We just play it by ear
FYI, the guy asking if you were a person vs dealership may have asked because some states have reduced or even ZERO taxes (Thinking of Arizona) on cars bought from a private seller, whereas a dealer you will have to pay taxes.

Welcome to my world, however as a Porsche specialist, it’s usually the sub $60k cars that elicit stupidity. $100k+, for some reason, are usually (relatively) reasonable folks.

On the News tonight here in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 a rental Lamborghini Huracan went nose up in the front of a car yard. Young Chinese driver immediately settled with yard and bolted before the cops arrived. 😅
