It's our last day on Mull and Keira get's in a right old state on the beach before we head off to see the historic connection between Mull and Australia.
Lovely video again. Glad you've managed to see a little bit of the island. There is just soooo much more. Calgary beach is lovely and I've been there many times but I think some of the beaches down the Ross of Mull are equally stunning. Calgary has quite a history connected to the highland clearances and to the right of the bay there is a path to an old village. I'm not 100% sure but i think the Royal Yacht Brittany's moored there during the Queen's silver jubilee. We usually go to Tobermory once then head down to the other end, the Ross of Mull around the Bunessan area. There is a new campsite at Pennyghael which overlooks Loch Scridan and attached is a very nice restaurant in the small hotel. Further down the island just outside Finnphort is the stunningly located Fidden Campsite. A trip to Loch Buie mustn't be missed. The drive is very scenic and then in front of you the bay appears. The Old Post office cafe is a delight and I've enjoyed several langoustine lunches followed by a stunning cake. This is where I saw my first otter. It came ashore about 2 metres from my son. Amazing! Loved this mini series and a great place to tour so it’s on the list thanks for showing Lovely beach we are having an increased bid of plastic plants in the house especially as we’re away for long trips 😂
@@getawaygeese I have never liked plastic plants but I must say I am definitely warming to them. Cactus and succulents are also good for being away on long trips, but I think we will stick to plastic for the van, but Tricia will surely run out of space for them soon 🤣👍💕🐾
Mull is so beautyfull. Put it on our List when visiting Scotland again. We love Scotland so much. Next year we are doing a big tour round Scotland. Thanks for taking us with you. Greetings from Germany

We absolutely loved it in the van on Mull, we really should have booked it for longer but we didn't think there would be much to do. Needless to say we were wrong but at least that means we will need to go back 😀
Beautiful Mull, I have really enjoyed visiting again with you, loved the fuzzy wuzzy tree.. it reminded me of a daft ditty my Gran taught me. Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair, So he was nae fuzzy Wuz he Where that came from in my memory I do not know. See you soon. Sue x

Hari OM go Keira!!! Now, do mum and dad have one of those wonder brushes made of rubber/silicon that removes all the gatherings before you get in back aboard? Mull was marvellous, eh? How was the off grid parking situation as I’ve heard that there very few if any places to pitch up for the night other than campsites.
@@2009kronos I think we only spotted one and it was single van space which was taken so not good for wild camping.
