To be fair they tease you with it hard and you can only imagine the pain she would feel from stepping on it, and goddamn it I hate that anxiety up inducing stuff but I fucking love the last final destination movie.

It reminds me of Oldboy, where they use a guy getting his teeth pulled for a torture scene because you can imagine exactly how much it hurts. You can't really imagine how being torn in half feels.

I was a sheltered kid and had never even seen single second of one of these movies growing up but I distinctly remember developing a deep fear of elevators because of that scene with the lady’s head. I must’ve overheard someone describe it and that second hand knowledge was enough to get me all messed up inside.

The log death petrifies me because actually happened to my third grade English teacher's husband. She and their two daughters were in the truck and barely missed the log coming through the windshield. He was Smokey the Bear and he would go to every elementary school in the county. Our principal had to sit us down and explain to us why Smokey wasn't coming back that year.
The log death one is probably the most plausible one out of all the deaths in the franchise (I mean some of them are completely not plausible, but I mean "probably" compared to the plane crash and the bridge collapse, not the swords dislodging exercise equipment which crushes the guy's head), so it's the scariest. I don't understand why logging trucks aren't required to have a net across the back of them.

I also theorized that FD5 is just DEATH having fun for the first time, and every movie after is him cleaning up the mess he let loose into the world, all the while covering as many contingencies as inhumanely possible with the red herrings.
FD5 DEATH is a d*ck, FD1-2 is DEATH cleaning up his First mess, and FD3-4 is Him realizing that he has given humans the power to foresee the future, a power which will only grow in its potential.

The 5th has always been my favorite. It's the only one that really lived up to the hype of the franchise. The first 4 all have it's iconic moments, but the last one genuinely puts you on edge throughout the entire film.

One of my favorite touches of the 5th movie is that if you watch the movie all over again, all the vehicles and technology like cell phones are period correct (meaning they all look like they're from the late 90's/early 00's) but on the first viewing you don't even notice it.

They didn't even have to have her say anything-the fact that SpongeBob lives underwater is so completely incipid and irrelevant to what they were talking about that just having her stare at him in silence would have sufficed as a comedy beat.
Also, those characters were supposed to be graduating in 2006, which would mean SpongeBob debuted when they were in primary school. There's no possible way she wouldn't be familiar with it.

The ending of the last one actually made me care about the characters. With 3 and 4, I didn't care. But when it's revealed that they're on the plane, I felt sad for them..
1, 2 and 5 are the only good films in the series.
HabitsRabbit I personally kinda liked 3 simply because whenever I get on a roller coaster, that film is the only thing on my mind lol. I live about 40mins away from Cedar point so I’ve ridden roller coasters hundreds of times in my life. As experienced as I am with riding them, that scene still fucks me up every time as the ride begins to move on the tracks and I say a quick prayer just in case ctfu. 💯😪

Final Destination 5 is my absolute favorite as its deaths looked better, there’s a story that makes you give a crap about the characters with suspense/intrigue and how it ties back to the first movie

I want a Final Destination where the person who gets the future visions just lets it happen, but Death is like “No, I’m too used to this, you’re gonna be the only survivor”
So the story is just the main character trying to die while just casually telling the other people their deaths and Death tries to let the others slide, but everytime they avoid their deaths, they get the death that the MC, who is kinda suicidal, is getting from Death.

The most I can remember of that situation if my mom being the most scared while my dad jokingly said "So is she (the girl in the movie) gonna be okay" and I was immediately cheered up (I think my mom was a bit cheered up too)
