We worked together through the 1980s while I worked as House Model for Oscar de la Renta. Anna is amazing, she glides through the runway with so much class and beauty. A wonderful, loving human being,,,
That's awesome. I've watched interviews with Anna B. And she seems down to earth. I do have a question, and I don't mean to be rude by asking, but what exactly is a house model?
@@dc0007 work full time with designer and staff, designer first tries any design on you. Also when stores, celebrities, come to purchase clothing, I modeled the outfits for them. Worked on all fashion shows and traveled when showing outside USA.
This was when models didn't walk the runway like robots like they do unfortunately for a long time now - now that designers have fully embraced the notion that models shouldn't take the focus and attention from the clothes being presented. I disagree. Models' turns and pirouettes actually endow the audience the ability to imagine how the clothes would look being worn by an active person, when the person shifts her stances and postures or when she decides to put her hands on the hips and other parts of her body in everyday life.
Classic models from the 70s - 90s actually made me notice the clothes more? Yes, I definitely noticed the models but they brought the clothes to life. So I could say “oh yeah, that orange dress Christy was wearing at the so-and-so show” - I remembered it. Now I can’t even watch a runway show without being completely bored and detached.
What a beautiful and sweet face she had, and she modify her walk according to the mood and designer! I am aware that it was a different time(late 70's & 80's) but looking at Anna Bayle now she could have been on Sport Illustrated Swimsuit edition with Paulina, Elle and Cathy Ireland but she was not so sad.Thanks for the video!
Anna Bayle is one of the most celebrated super models of the 80's she puts the Philippines in the globe as she strutted in the catwalk and runways...cheers to Anna Bayle!
I takes a lot of intelligence not just to model a gown and choreograph how to present it in the runways..No wonfer designers want her! She is a classy, beautiful, ruunway queen.!
Has there been another Asian model who reached the same level of success as Anna? She waljed for the most revered fashions all over the world! Now that's a super model's model
I don't think there are any Filipino runway models who can match her shows. She has participated in numerous high-caliber fashion shows for renowned designers, and no other Filipino models have achieved that.

@chrismayo2647. @chrismay02647 doesn't know what glides means
@chrismayo2647 only recognises a model who appears as vogue covers..how ignorant!
