Anna Bayle was one of the 5 models in the early 80s ( Iman, Dalma Callado, Ines de la Fressange, and Mounia Ossumare), who captured my attention as a teenager interested in fashion design. But Anna Bayle had this slinky glide to her walk that set her apart from the other models. She also, to me, at least finally was representing more people of color( and this was the 80s). She seemed to be in every fashion show along with Iman and Dalma!(❤ both of these models). Anna was such an in demand model that once she had problems getting into Italy, because of her Visa, so Valentino Garavani, Mr. Valentino, had someone from the Italian government clear her entry into Italy.

It’s okay. Outside of the Philippines they have been pronouncing it wrong. People have been pronouncing it like Bail or Bay Lee when it should be pronounced bajle or baahylë. Bayle is borrowed from the Spanish word Baile which means dance.
