Hi, how stable is it when the centre column fully extended?

Peter Wallace hey Peter, thanks for checking in. Surprisingly balanced at full extension but there is a little hook at the bottom for a sandbag or backpack to hold and anchor and worth doing if the camera is going to be left unattended. Does that help?

Im hesitant to buy this, now that you had more time with. Would you still recommend it? Also does the leg unscrew overtime like does it get loose? People on the internet , there are issues with locking mechanism?

I love this thing! I travel with it all the time. Sometimes when I have it fully out, one of the legs isn't secure and it starts to lower down so I go back and tighten it but overall it's great!

Do the legs on the air only have two anchor points? extended or collapsed? With the twist lock, it doesn't seem like they can be stopped midway?
