Actually it was the point you made about the centre column when fully extended not being very stable. I’m 6ft 1 and I use a Fuji X-T2 and to be honest that is enough to put me off it. Plus the cheapest I’ve seen it so far is about $100.i don’t want something that’ll move in a slight breeze. 😊
Per your video, I ordered and received this tripod. Open box unit for $30.00. I do like the small size and the weight. Question. The blue tooth remote. I take I must charge it. No cable or instructions provided. I do have a cable that fits. So I want to make sure I just plug it in for a charge.
I can understand that. I was trying to do a timelapse of the sunset at Yellowstone, had it extended all the way up, and saw the shakes. But, I kind of knew that going in. Try looking at their classic versions. Those things are solid!
I like that selfie stick feature. I usually have to keep it on my whole tripod when doing a selfie, which can be heavy haha. I’m still worried about it falling over when fully extend which also happened to me once but lucky my lens still work. I will be considering this tripod.
Great review! And I like the Asian slipper at the end. 😆 But you never showed us how it looked all the way folded up and in the bag! If I see this for this price, I might get it because I like to paint outside and I have a paint box that mounts on tripods. Having a lighter tripod for painting adventures is always a plus!
Thanks! It’s very short. Click the link in the description and read the specs for minimum folded length, then use a rules to measure the length. It’s very short and packs away very nearly and easily.
Love the review about the tripod, this has definitely helped me decide which one I am going to get. Just out of interest, what camera do you use that you have on the tripod in this video?
This is the best review I have found on RUclips for this tripod. Thank you. No one else puts the camera on the tripod and uses it. Well done
You're welcome!!! You've made my DAY!!!
I want to say thank you, I have this tripod and I don't know its funtions till I watched this.
@@hanhle4089 awesome!!! Glad you learned something!
Thx! Best review on this gear!
You're welcome!!! I still use this tripod for every trip I take. Great value when I caught it on sale for $40. 🙂
I will pair it with my Olympus OMD10 Mark 2. iPhone second choice. Thanks for you impute.
You’re good to go for travel. Enjoy!
This is probably one of the most fun reviews i've seen! :)
Thank you!!! What was the most useful thing for you about this review?

MeFoto Globe Trotter is my recommendation for y’all people.
MrHeng562 I’ll check it out! Thanks.

Correct! What camera do you plan to pair this with? Or, is this for your phone?
5:20 ..........that wobble is unforgivable .... deal breaker in fact!

If you fully extend it, just make sure to hold on, or hook some weights to the bottom. There's a hook for you to do that built in to the center post.
Awesome review and video, mate! Appreciated... I am looking at which tripod to get and this sounds good! Cheers
Glad I can help. Which one are you getting? Air, or Classic?

Bought 2 on BandH on sale...it's great for traveling to Africa where you're limited to 33 lbs (15kg).
What camera system are you taking with you to put on the tripod ?
Question: can you recommend a pan &tilt head that you can screw on this tripod that’s not to heavy?
Check out the iFootage fluid heads. But, I think these legs are too weak for that kind of use. I wish you luck finding a good fluid head. 😁👍
Thanks for the review! Do you know if it is possible to replace the tripod´s head?
Unfortunately, no. It's on sale are bnh.com for a few more hours. Check the deal zone.
will wind wobble the camera during a timelapse if you put the center stick in the lowest height setting?
That depends on how strong the wind is. Also, if you use weights hooked to the bottom hook of the center column, then it will not budged.

cool!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! What was the best part for you?
Everything was perfect very good review good jokes good vibe.....,👍👍👍
Do the legs on the air only have two anchor points? Extended or collapsed? with the twist lock, it doesn't seem like they can be stopped midway?
I’m not sure I understand the first two questions, but the answer to third question is yes you can stop the legs midway.
Would you recommend the s version over the classic?
For travel, yes. But, overall, the classic is stronger.
Great review!
Thanks! Hurry and check bnh.com because the silver one is on sale now. Check their deal zone. Good luck!
@@mrheng562 I searched for a review because I saw the sale on BNH kkkkkk But thanks for the fast response!
😂 , I had a suspicion...
Is this tripod still available and in production?
I’m not sure. Please go to meFoto site and email them.
Best to use a micro 4/3 camera.
Yes, that's what I take for my vacations, an M43 camera. Full frame lenses are so big!!!
Can u use that on go pro or camera
I was using my GoPro 8 on it today. You need the 1/4 inch adapter though.
@@mrheng562 oh thank you planning to buy a go pro 7 white tday. Can u pls give me a link for that 1/4 inch adaptor.
This is an affiliate link, I will get a small commission, but cost you nothing extra. Thank you for the support. amzn.to/2CMxo7l
Do you know now after 5 year this mefoto tripod price over 100 usd ! Damn you kept saying 40 dolaaarrr … i want that price !!!
@@diegodimas I got lucky on BnH. Still my favorite travel tripod for my needs.
The tripod used for your upside down shot is not the tripod you are reviewing, you show a tripod that has different legs in the still.
That was the MeFoto Classic, but you can do the same thing with the Mefoto Air that I'm reviewing in this video. I hope that helps.
