I'm going to go for teacher for the reason the grass looks more natural, the gradient is larger and the ground is a solid black that contrast better than all the greys.

The student's look more stylized as the Teacher's looks more realistic, I'm honestly digging both.
I think the student's is the one that looks more realistic because real life soil isn't just one color dark. It also has texture.
@@prexy_Pasta i think the teacher just meant to use the ground at the front as a silhouette, so the focal point would be the background. the teacher also lowered the soil so the focal point was more focused

Does it matter how it's sharpened? Whichever they think is best or easier they'll use
@@hollyklutz no. Often artists used pencil sharpened like the student is using. Cuz you know that artworks can even take days so that's why they use like that, so they don't have to concentrate that there pencil is not sharpened.

I think as students when you first start drawing you're somewhat afraid to press too hard with the coloured pencils cuz u think they're gonna break easily, regardless of all the missed spots they did a really good job.
I think they were supposed to do that for texture in the ground
Even though their both in a different style for both amazing either way it doesn't matter of the drawing it matters how big they had a heart and how confident that they made the drawing

Why are the roles reversed for me? My teacher just tells us a topic and we need to draw it😂😂 plus i saw her art, she draws like a 3rd grader
the teacher spent more time and effort and the student tried to finish it quick which resulted in the teachers art being better + the teacher has more experience
