  • Big question...can you sublimate on glass? I heard on TikTok you can so I wanted to test and show you my outcome. A few things to note:
Make sure to adjust your pressure!!
    Temp - 385
    Time - 60s
    Pressure - LIGHT
I used HTV RONT sublimation paper and ink for this (discount below - save 20%) , the blank was just an old picture frame glass I had laying around.

I’m waiting for the finally. When you apply Polycrylic you should use a foam brush and keep the stroked light and to an absolute minimum. Then more strokes the more bubbles. There is a solution to put on fabrics. I wonder if it was left to dry if it wouldn’t make a mask for the sublimation. It was developed for heat where the polycrylic is not. It get a little soft in strong sunlight.

That was my thoughts at the end, was to use a foam brush (I started with one and it broke) and then to let the transfer sit for a bit to cool the spray with water and peel it off then. I have redone the polycrylic coating and am waiting for it to dry to try again!

I’m late to this video but you have to let the polycrylic cure fully …

You can use white htv vinyl and not mirror image and put image on the bottom and it goes through the glass
