I'm brand new to trying to learn sublimation. Thank you very much for fantastic content. Im eager to buy my equipment in the near furture. Im inspired. Love that you and your wife are doing this together. I just subscribed to your channel.
What causes the cutting boards to have something that looks like fingerprints after it is finished. Wish there was a way to send you a pic so you could see it
After days of searching for instruction on this process I finally stumbled upon your video today. It is by far the most detailed step-by-step instruction video on the process that I have seen. The no frills content provided by you and your wife is invaluable to me. Thank you both.
Really helpful and educational video. Thank you so much. You both have a lovely laid back style to your teaching that many would be educators should pay heed to. 🙂

Been doing these for a while. You will find if you used the white vinyl they look great at first but a few months later the will become fuzzy looking. But you can solve that hut using clear 651 then you can use the white after sublimated if you need the colors to show better. I just had to redo over a dozen because the images became so fuzzy looking

I’m not sure I understand what she means about using clear 651 first … then the white. Does that mean you put the white on top of the clear? Alsi can I use an ink jet printer to print out my photos.
I have a circle cutter ,(Martha Stewart $10.00) that I use to cut parchment paper circles for my cake pans! I think the circIe cutter would be great to cut your vinyl.
Love it. Would love to try but don't have a heat press. I'd have to try an iron but am not sure if that would work well enough based on the timing issue. Anyway, great video with super clear instructions. Thanks for posting - I'd like to make them for a (European) use as sandwich plates for lunch. My German parents always used wood boards. I like glass.
I loved the way you explained everything! I do have a question for you - when I removed my sublimated square dollar tree cutting board from the manual heat press, everything came out very good, except for splotches of possibly the rapid tac that formed when it was pressed. How can I make sure that it doesn't happen on any future items I make? I used all of the materials that you had suggested in your tutorial. Thank you so much!
This were a super good video. The instruction was very easy to follow. A little work, but the outcome is worth the time. Look forward to following you. Thanks a million!!!

Thank you for sharing...you and your wife did an excellent job teaching how to do the cutting boards. I'm new to sublimation, and this was very informative and easy to understand. My one question though is... when covering with the white vinyl is this Htv vinyl or permanemt? And does it have to be oracle 651 or will any brand work?
Great video , I’m new to your channel. I’m a little confused… someone else commented that the white 651 gets cloudy so we should use clear then white. I’m not sure if they meant to layer the two? I have never done sublimation before so this is all new to me. So I also was wondering if I’m able to print the pictures with an ink jet printer?
You can also use clear lamination paper instead of the vinyl. You have to use a printer that is capable of printing with sublimation ink. Epson Ecotanks, Sawgrass or the Epson F170. Thanks for watching! Check out my other videos to help you with sublimation.
I would like to suggest using the magic eraser sheets for your prep. They are fantastic for gooy and hard to erase substances on my pan bottoms and rust on planter bottoms. Give it a try, happy creating ❤❤❤
