I tried the laminate method on a round Dollar Tree cutting board. I did the laminate for the 60 seconds as suggested with my Easy Press and added another 30 secs to the sublimation time (so 90 secs) because it looked like it needed it. I was pretty successful! The only thing I would do differently would be to use my Easy Press to go around the edges for some additional time. The edges in 2 places are light. I think the cutting boards may not be perfectly level so the edges may not get an even press like the middle does. Other than that I'm calling it a 2-thumbs up! Thanks Jennifer!

These look really cool, & I definitely want to try. But let me just double check: you're sublimating DIRECTLY onto regular white adhesive vinyl? If so, that opens up worlds of possibilities!! Also, do you think that that would work for magnets, too? Would this method work with the HTF powder, as I cant afford a sublimation printer yet. but have used the HTF on fabric. and it worked great on tote bags.

If i wanted to sublimate on 100% cotton, are you saying that adhesive vinyl doesn't work? What about the clear dye aublimation heat transfer...I am really new to this
