I've got the K2 600, just past 67k, and I absolutely love my bike, 1987 1100 in the barn, with the idea of wanting a k1-2 ,1000 in the future

Think yours is in better shape than mine. But I like my color scheme better I think. Mine has white rims and the white on the rear seat cover.
In the shop at the moment getting clutch worked on. I’m doing basically what you are.
i bought one last month. (a K1, with only 16,000miles) just put a Pipewerx exhaust, with link pipe, to eliminate that valve thing. cool. and yes, black wheels look better (the K1 has white)
