Such great footage, the splendor has so much to offer people, no matter what vibe you are looking for, the prices are accessible particularly if you book interior rooms, events running all day, reasonably priced shore excursions that are all safe and vetted by Carnival, and the food is delicious ! with the friendliest staff you will ever meet on the waves, no one does it better than Carnival - sure, there are more glamorous ships than the splendor, but if your looking to sail out of Aus, she is hands down the best we have operating in our area right now

The ship's interior is inspired by the Great Gatsby and the atrium is all pink champagne bubbles. If you remember the hallways in the hotel section, the wallpaper is all people from the 1920's.

I really enjoyed my cruise on this ship, it was the 10 day cruise to Airlie Beach, Cairns, Port Douglas (missed that port due to weather) Moreton Island and Willis Island. I had a blast, loved the Lido Deck, the Casino and especially our house sports bar. Cabin was rather comfy too, loved all the entertainment onboard. I just was not fond of the food at the restaurants and in the buffet, but I am fussy, however I did enjoy Pizza del Capitano. Overall for me I give it a 8/10

I’m going on the Splendor in September and I can’t wait. I am just a bit worried that I won’t get to do everything on the ship because there is soooo much to do. It looks amazing!
Carnival splendors exterior is a hybrid of Conquest class and Dream class ships!!!😮
We went on this ship in 2018 it was really run down at the time but still had fun
that was a great video Jed, im about to embark on my 2nd cruise on her on the 28th of this month to NZ, and have another 3 booked up right though till September 2025, yes she is different, but you get it once your onboard,im use to sailing on other styled ships, and ive been cruising since i was 11, but the splendor has this vibe about her that draws you back.
You will well and truly be an expert on the layout of this ship Paul. I hope you have excellent sailings on her in the future :) J

Hey Emma thanks for the question! :D My Splendor cruise was in August and the pools were often filled with people. I'd be very confident that October would be a great time of year for swimming. Hope you have the best time!

Can I just double check …. The current free drinks on board available at all times are tea, coffee, water, juice (do you know what type) and the lemon squash (is that fizzy like soft drink or a flat drink?) it’s been over 10 years since cruising with carnival and I’m just seeing what free drinks there could be gif the kids :)

Juice isnt juice. Its usually reconstituted fruit drink. Free coffee is hot muddy water

Thanks for the great tour, this ships decor is truly disgusting in my opinion. Good choice of restaurants, sadly a lot are extra charge. Shocked that the dining room doesn't even have tablecloths.

Any floor in between the public spaces. And avoid staircases and elevators as well. :)

Check deck above and below before booking. Avoid under public decks due to chair and other noise and proximity to bars etc. Be wary of near lifts and dont them allocate a cabin.
