I can imagine the consolidation will work similarly to how the former costa ships operate in the fleet. They operate as a “fun Italian style” and I can imagine we will get the Australian style down under. I can also assume we will get the livery & the 3 color funnel, but the whale tail might be something that never comes or comes in a dry dock down the road

All fair commentary of the ship i would say, but, i find the quirks of the ship interesting, i often wonder with the food in the buffet myself if its dependent upon what part of the crew cycle the ship they are in, i.e. if they have just had a rotation, people returning from two months vacation, refreshed, bright, enthusiastic etc, vs, mid contract, starting to be more tired, etc etc

Such great footage, the splendor has so much to offer people, no matter what vibe you are looking for, the prices are accessible particularly if you book interior rooms, events running all day, reasonably priced shore excursions that are all safe and vetted by Carnival, and the food is delicious ! with the friendliest staff you will ever meet on the waves, no one does it better than Carnival - sure, there are more glamorous ships than the splendor, but if your looking to sail out of Aus, she is hands down the best we have operating in our area right now

Maybe you were on a different Carnival Firenze. Literally ANY deck from the Lido Deck (deck 10) and below will get you to the MDR (Main Dining Room) simply by taking the Aft Stairwell or the Aft Elevators. Can't get much easier than that. At the 4 minute mark, your graphic shows 2 identical copies of Deck 4 yet it references both Deck 4 & 5.

Wow, there was 13 of us and we all agreed, the best carnival ship we have been on. We didn't have any issues with getting lost or finding where we are. We loved the ship! June 9th is when we sailed. looks like the same dates as this video?

The Magic and Wonder remains the Disney's most beautiful ships, and one do the most beautiful cruise ships ever built. The Adventure will not come anywhere close to the Disney aesthetics and design language, but then again, it is built for the Asian, especially Chinese market, who are probably more forgiving.

If they put a castle on it... our minds will be blown!

sad to see P&O Australia go. I think this is obviously a cost cutting measure and they will bill the existing 2 ships coming over to Carnival as "the Australian experience" version of Carnival until those ships retire and then we'll be seeing all the usual gaudy oldest Carnival ships summering over here and maybe have 1 or 2 of their ships homeport here year round. Not to mention the current ships will be put under a flag of convenience like the rest of the fleet so they can take advantage of poor labour conditions for their staff - cost cutting

Wow the organisation on that ship sounds like a nightmare!!! Thats layout is enough to put me right off. Doesn't sound very accessible, especially considering people with accessibility needs often like cruising. ugh!

I took a cruise last year as Costa and i loved the ship and the club on deck 5 at the aft of the ship

john heald recons Aussies love the splendor its always full , we loved cruising on carnival before covid and before they sent the splendor , its boring , hard to navigate foods crap , the violinists drove me crazy , we hate the splendor so much
