- Hello! And welcome back to Good Ship! Today we’re discussing ‘Fun Italian Style’ on Carnival Firenze.
However not everything is as it seems on Carnival’s newest ship as there are more than a few teething issues.
We battled check in issues along with dismal tendering and disembarkation processes.
The layout of the ship will also take some getting used as the layout is unlike anything else in the Carnival Fleet.

Thank you! Was considering this vs Royal Caribbean. Your thorough and informative review is exceptionally well done and exceedingly helpful. Two thumbs up!
Thank you so much! Appreciate the comment. What cruise line have you decided to choose? Jed :)
Navigator isn’t any better 😂
Did you includes these issues in your review to Carnival? Hopefully they will work on this and get it straightened out ASAP!
Wow, there was 13 of us and we all agreed, the best carnival ship we have been on. We didn't have any issues with getting lost or finding where we are. We loved the ship! June 9th is when we sailed. looks like the same dates as this video?
So glad you loved Firenze! Great to hear.
Great review, really thorough, thanks 😊
Thanks Dad!
Another great and honest video Jed! loving the content
Hey Mark thanks for your support! I think you are my number 1 subscriber! :D
Wow the organisation on that ship sounds like a nightmare!!! Thats layout is enough to put me right off.
Doesn't sound very accessible, especially considering people with accessibility needs often like cruising. ugh!
Maybe you were on a different Carnival Firenze. Literally ANY deck from the Lido Deck (deck 10) and below will get you to the MDR (Main Dining Room) simply by taking the Aft Stairwell or the Aft Elevators. Can't get much easier than that. At the 4 minute mark, your graphic shows 2 identical copies of Deck 4 yet it references both Deck 4 & 5.
Thank you for the feedback :) I'm really glad you found Firenze easy to navigate. That is great to hear.
