Love my Sensecap miners. You should always try to get your antenna outside anyways if you want to make some money. So no big deal about the supplied antenna. Just get an outdoor antenna and put it up. Dashboard is great. Support on Discord is great. They always keep their promises about shipping. No noise. Fan is only on when it's actually needed and even then it's quite silent.

Not sure what version of Sense Cap you're reviewing. I've had mine for almost 4 months. Its completely quiet. Zero fan noise at all. I know others that use sensecaps and I've never heard any of those folks mentioning fan noise. This is strange.

Don’t understand the fan noise comments is your video. The miner is silent. The fan turns on briefly during boot as a check that it’s working then only turns on if the cpu temp is over 70C which has never happened to any of my sensecaps which are all installed outdoors. If your miner is indoors 70C should never be reached. Just shield it from direct sunlight.
Mine hasn't earned one penny. In the app what does convert hnt mean? Does that mean Automatically convert hnt to USD? I have no clue also I'm in third floor apartment up high been a week 0cents

I bought my bobcat miner back in June 20th. Judging by the shipping updates, it should arrive in February. They only seem to finish one day of orders per week, and they just finished June 13th. They havent really emailed me since my order, so I hope I wasnt scammed 😅

Thanks for recommending Rak. I ordered the wrong type of antenna the other day. Before just shipping it out to me, they reached out to make sure what I ordered was correct. They updated my order and I will now receive the correct antenna with correct connection type so I can get started right away. I am very disappointed as not being able to find any Helium miners at a reasonable price. Some greedy people are buying miners in batches, not letting people to get their first one. Greedy, greedy people!
Helium as a whole will die off if they cannot address the MASSIVE gaming issue. Spoofing and altering software is rampant and will break the system. The very structure of the system makes it near impossible to stop the exploits, hence the death of the entire project if it cannot be addressed.
My helium miners are doing very poorly. I’ve got a few on original antennas and two on 8db antennas. All of them are relaying. Doing the port thing on Wifi made no difference. I’m getting on average two HNT a month. Anyone have any suggestions? They are each placed miles away from each other with one per location. I’m using RAK2 miners. I may just ebay the rest of them.

what's the best antenna to get for the Sensecap m1? I live out of the city in more of a desert setting if that matters.
If you a distance away from any other hex’s then you need a higher db antenna with a further reach but a thinner window.
