Yeah, this network reward policy scr3ws the most useful hotspots that provide coverage in areas not covered at all. More important than your antenna db gain, is how high above the ground you place your antenna. Don't just park this on a desk, at least mount it on your ceiling or on a wall high up withe the antenna pointing up or hanging straight down (doesn't matter). That alone would double the antenna height. For my wifi outdoor routers I custom make a mount on a pole with a 5 gallon bucket over the top of it to protect it from the rain.
