Rebecca thank you soooo much for this great selvage quilt tutorial‼️ I have been saving selvages for years and friends save and give me many also. I think this block is the one to get me going‼️👍Hugs to you and keep the videos COMING‼️😄

Great use of selvages. I have been saving mine and now I have a project. I love the way that you made an "X" with the block but with a different orientation, you can also make an "O". I think that when I make this block, I will switch it up and make an X's and O's quilt!!

Thank you! Yes, the X's and O's layout is really tempting. I nearly decided upon that one! :) Thanks!

Question: I'v been mindlessly making strips of selvages by attaching them to adding machine tape (I remove the paper afterwards). I'm guessing for me to duplicate this neat tutorial, that depending on the width of my strips I need to make squares the same size as the strips? i.e. if mine are 2.5 wide, then the squares need to be 2.5 x 2.5.....right?

Would pressing with a little steam take out some of the puckering?

Would like to see more projects, such as a tote bag, made from selvedges.

Such fun. Now I’ll have to start saving selveges. Love the quilt on your back wall, did you use a pattern?

I just discovered your channel when I searched for ways to use selvages. I've now watched the first four videos in this series. In the last one you said you'd do another to show how to sew the selvage binding to a quilt. Did you do that? I can't find it. Thanks.

Loved the video, tried to get the pattern, but the link said I needed a password. Tried to sign up for your newsletter, that wasn't working either.

Hey there! Yes, I completely agree. It’s about 5 mins too long at least. Thanks for the feedback, it’s appreciated!
