Over the weekend, Anthony Davis excited basketball and sneaker fans with his prolific play in a gold PE pair of the Nike Air Max Hyperposite 2. While Davis is the latest NBA superstar to lace up a pair of 'posites in the postseason, we thought it'd be best to trace the lineage. Bibby when he was with University of Arizona he wore the royal blue foams. he technically was the first to wear the shoe in a game/playoff due to penny being hurt even doe it was college.

"ironically, penny started the foamposite 2 games before the playoffs in Washington" actually, he played 9 games with the foam before the playoffs, he started them in NY the 4th April...Also, Penny played game 4 of the 99 playoffs first round in the flighposite 1 black !
@106633153823290443617 i have 200 of Penny games on dvd, and have some footage of that game in NY, as well as he only wore once the white foam vs the Bulls (6th april). For 99, Penny wore the Air Penny 4 black in game 1,2,3 and the flightposite 1 black in game 4. again, i have the game on dvd
