“If you’re a basketball fan and you don’t know who Penny Hardaway is then I won’t waste my breath telling you cause… you’re not a basketball fan.” - Chris Webber
First time I heard of Penny was before he got to the NBA. Back then college basketball was better than the NBA. Me and my friends were talking about CB and the good teams and players then. And one of my friends said Memphis had this guy named Penny who might be the best player in college. I started watching his highlights and although I thought he was good Webber to me was the absolute best college BB player at that time.
Fun fact bro, but his last name should've been Golden (lastname of his biological father) but his mother or grandmother opted to use theirs, Hardaway. :)
I met Penny Hardaway when I was 12 years old. He was very nice and cool. At the time I was going through a lot because my mother was just killed. He obviously didn't know that but him shaking my hand just made one more day easier. This was in 1992. And I will tell you he is the greatest basketball player that I have ever seen with my own two eyes in person. And on TV I haven't seen nobody better unless it was Michael Jordan. Penny Hardaway was class personified on and off the court. Me trying to be like him kept me out a lot of trouble up until a certain point. He most definitely should be in the Hall of Fame oh, that should have happened long time ago. There is not one player that possess the skills that Penny Hardaway does collectively in my humble opinion. I have never seen anyone with better post foot moves and footwork. And he was like a human pogo stick Jumpin Out The Gym. And his defense was spectacular. And you could not leave him open from 3. The only person I've ever seen with a better mid-range shot than Penny Hardaway was Michael Jordan if that's even accurate. And his passing ability oh my goodness you talking about reflexes like a cat. I remember those days back in beginning of the 90s. Penny we forever love you thank you for all the great memories.

Really him and Kobe started being jealous of each other. He knew when he went to Miami he couldn’t have any tension with DWade or people would have noticed a pattern. Plus he was on the decline. To this day Shaq suffers from attention jealousy. You don’t gotta tell me his stats I watched them play in real time. I been watching Shaq his whole career dude is who he is. It has nothing to do with how great he was as a player or his stats. It was about his physical limitations, Shaq always wished he could do all the things that guards could do. All the fancy dribble moves and passes he liked that. You guys gotta learn to evaluate things from a 3 dimensional perspective. It will help you learn how to maneuver in this world.

This penny was priceless!
If Shaq didn't get impatient, him and Penny would've gotten a title. Shaq said it himself.
If Orlando gave Shaq a 100million contract he wouldve stayed
For sure after jordan left they will rule the nba
That would have drastically changed Kobe's legacy. Very interesting. 🤔
Shaq got jealous Penny was starting to get Jordan and Magic comparison level attention and respect.
@Umb O Yes and he got jealous of how big Penny was getting
Penny was starting to get Jordan and Magic level attention.
Same way he started getting jealous of Kobe.
This is the best highlight tape I’ve ever seen. Dude passes like White Chocolate, jumps like Ant, dunks like Ja, finishes like Kyrie, has a first step like prime D Rose. He’s probably the most naturally talented basketball player of all time.
His style is clean, smart and beautiful. Truly inspiring
Penny was always a handful for my Bulls back in the day.
Happy birthday Penny Hardaway!
The Kobe before Kobe. Wow. Great times watching this guy
It's been a while since I watched a set of highlights that hit me like this one. What an electrifying player.
Come Bro these passes got to be the best I've ever seen in the NBA from hardway bro should get more love highlights 🔥
Definitely top 10 most fun players to watch
He is better than Michael.

Man...I almost forgot how good Penny really was! He was dunking on everybody!!
That means he was Just a good dunker🤣
It is what it is reminded me of why Penny Hardaway was special af
5:34 is like something you would see in today's NBA
That behind the back and then spin with the pass to Nick Anderson was about the coldest dish ever!
Loved Penny Hardaway, his game was fire besides MJ he was my second best player in the league
Penny hardaway has been forgotten and young people will never understand how great he was

Love watching Penny highlights one of the most skilled nba players of all time 🔥
The Best Thing that the NBA can do is reminisce Penny's Career mixtape. He might not become a hall of fame but as a fan he is Among the most marketable athletes of basketball
Penny Hardaway is a 🐐

Flashy passer hall of fame posterizer hall of fame acrobat hall of fame that guy was a beast pure offensive threat🔥
Happy 50th to my favourite player of all time!
Wtf i didnt know penny was THIS sick!
Fax I’m kinda young so
He was the face of the league in his first 4 years. His all star games were legendary shit. He brought a whole new level of excitement to the basketball world. Once Jordan left, he was pretty much everyone's favorite player.
@Ta-Kuan Fuan nothing in PENNY'S game reminded me of MJ. He was a total different player. He's definitely was the upgraded version of MAGIC tho💯
My favorite player of all time, but I can’t give this compilation an upvote because it didn’t show his excellent clutch shooting or his elite stealing. He was much more than just a passer and dunker.
So fantastic!!
Penny was before my time but I just saw the Shaq interview where he was saying Penny could have been better than Kobe. I thought Shaq was just hating on Kobe but after watching this I see exactly what Shaq was saying.
I’m Sorry But He Was The Best Point Guard To Ever Play!! Of Course He Doesn’t Have The Accolades & Accomplishments To Back That Up But. The EYE TEST I’ve Never Seen Anyone BETTER!! 💯
I'm sorry but no.
@@bwink23... That’s The Beauty Of Us All Having OPINIONS 💯
