just , the beauty of simplicity ...
Very simple, utilitarian vehicle...hard to believe it's a 2015 model year! Almost looks like it's a military truck in that green colour. I'm sure these are probably easy to maintain and repair. Thanks for the great overview!
+Michael Rivera Yes, it is really military truck. it's a 1965 model year.
@@dNFdW no dude this thing is brand new
I wish there were dealers of these in the USA because they still make these
Who cares about the design, this car has everything you needed to drive a car
I personally think the car looks beautiful not just this model but the Van model too
I love the design
I wish they would sell them in the US. They look rugged and simple to maintain.
You can also be buried in it once you crash, doubles as a casket
Magnifique c'est un véhicule tout terrain il s'adapte à toutes les situations
Thanks for doing this video in English, loved it. Great English too.
That car is badassery on wheels.
Simples, prática e robusta. Excelente para o trabalho.
Very cool 4x4! These remind me of the awesome Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier vans and Rampside trucks!
se ve super....¿de cuento es la medida de la caja de carga?....
If GAZ enters the Philippine car market, they will have a lot of customers for this and the van, although GAZ may have to offer a diesel version. I would buy one on the spot.
im sure it doesn't come with airbags
Muy bonito el camión
Clásico elegante.
holy shit, they still make them 😲😍😁
It's a charming cute van truck thing
I'm so in love
These were and are very popular in Hungary, mostly used by hunters or Forest workers, but most of them had a mercedes diesel engine swap, because the factory petrol one worth absolutely nothing... Consumes 13-16L / 100km, and goes like a snail with rheuma....
This truck would be SO cool if available with electronic Automatic!!!
Amazing.
Where can we buy this truck or how can we buy this truck in states
En colombia? donde los venden?
Is that a folding bunk in the back?
can I get one of this in Sweden?? it's looks really cool
this vehicle
it is made to travel without roads
buy them hunters and fishermen in Siberia can sell, I from Russia write on e-mail npfzzz@mail.ru
Maybe you're still interested, this company imports UAZ's to Belgium with European certification I guess: www.uaz-patriot.be/
ile kosztuje te auto?? nadal produkowane jest wersje osobowa bym kupil
At 09:15 .. what is this bottle? I did not hear him good!
And does UAZ has proven anti rust in coastal conditions .. such as the Mideterranean sea coasts?
Thanks.
That's where you fill the brake fluid.
Do they come in diesel engine,? What it cost in dollars, thanks, great review., say hello joe, continue, great cars, uaz.
1) No, they are only offered with 2.7 L ZMZ-40911 petrol engine (112 hp)
2) It depends. The cheapest one is the 2-door 2-seater onboard vehicle and it costs around $9,900.
The price range is between 767 000-850 000 rubles ($9,900-$10,850).
It's offered as a 5-seater, 7-seater and 9-seater "bus".
If you want to have a rear locking diff you should pay additional 4,900 rubles ($530).
The van has power steering, but it doesn't have an A/C and only the driver and the front passenger have seat belts.
There's a special offroad version called "Combi Expdetiton" which costs $13,350 and it's only painted in orange, and comes with heated seats.
@@jimmy1395 in Italy the cheapest one cost 20,000€ …
How much is it now in 2019?
Good 👍 car
Wow, if they import these things I would replace the bed and put a fiberglass camper on the back and tour the country with it.
Me llama mucho la atención
rugged and tuf machine like a tracter
Very nice review
Is this still a popular choice of 4x4 in Russia?
its not popular
+Paul Lynch its very cheap, so yeah, its most populat 4x4 commercial vehicle.
ITS NOT POPULAR
+Paul Lynch It is popular in russian army, police and country ambulance.
+Paul Lynch, they're a rather common site in Russia. They're very commonly used in the Army, Police & Ambulance. I can understand as to why:
1.) Russians are encouraged by their government to buy locally made goods instead of buying foreign goods. This is ironically 1 of the good parts of Communism because Communist countries have never outsourced jobs overseas like private companies in the 1st world have done, but that's kinda a side point & irrelevant. It is understandable & very wise because it keeps money in their native economy rather than going overseas. This is why you see so many Ladas on the road in Russia & their brands such as KamAZ & GAZ dominate the top sales in their country.
2.) They're simple to repair, cheap to repair & versatile; very good in off road conditions, harsh conditions & gets you from point A - point B. They're still very popular in off roading in Eastern Europe (The former Soviet Bloc) due to their excpetional off road performance, very low price, DIY friendly mechanics, easiness to repair & cheapness to repair. Now, granted, I'd never allow them to be sold in my country, if I were the government of my country, which would disappoint many people who like UAZ & other Russian/Soviet brands, but they need to obey safety & emissions standards if they want to be sold in my country. Yet again, that's kinda an irrelevant point.
Is the fuel consumption outrageous?
It's 10 - 15 L per 100 km.
So what do you think?
@@jimmy1395 that's not bad compared to 2010s standards but is great to be a design that has decades working
Make UAZ 2206 video please!
This pick is worth 5 500 euoros, 6 000 dolars .
It could almost have the VW logo on it
How to place an order?
@MegaRetr
Is this Diesel or Petrol?
+Earl Matthew Avila Petrol
@gixeff 750 Do u really want to drive a diesel in Siberia? this is not the best idea ..
@@cccp9661 yeah but petrol + 4x4 is not a good combination, diesel is much harder to start but is more durable.
@@tristan6509 it’s a petrol engine with max torque from 2500rpm
@@tonnyberben1770 most diesel trucks have peak torque on the 1500 RPM range
Mitsubishi 4D34 engine peaks at 1600rpm for example, or Toyota/Hino W04D peaks at 1800rpm
Of course lada Niva and Suzuki Jimny proved that you don't need powerfull engines for off-roading, but having a high torque low rpm engine makes it easier.
cool
Esas camionetitas aquí en México se venderían como pan caliente
Le doy el visto bueno
how much leg room in the back
Decent for 2m tall (my height)
This is one of those vehicles that's so ugly it's beautiful.
Still no airbags ,now that is a shame ,a simple modification add on .
wellcome to 1960 :)
I’d do an engine swap. 2.8L Duramax diesel with the 6spd Allison transmission.
Some much USSR in one video!
Kazan
it this 2015? it look like 60's truck
***** for maintaince cost?
No Stereo.

You should have explained, demonstrated how to operate the transfer case levers. I didn't see any seat belts for the rear seats, also the battery is inside the cab! Can you imagine the poisonous vapors being vented, and the reduced leg room.
Everything regularly exchangeable or refillable except gasoline inlet, is inside of car. Its rational in conditions of russian tajga where those things must be protected before deep freezing as much as possible.
Levers: That upper one is for engaging inter-axle gearbox, means, its connect forward axle to engine (Buchanka have normally driven only rear axle), but you can engage it only in terrain during slow forward movement and never on normal road. Reason why you need to move a bit with vehicle is that if you would not moving forward and tried to engage forward axle, in 99% of cases, you would be pressing top of not-moving teeths of both gearboxes against each other and wouldnt be able to engage that. Many people think like "its russian made, just use more strength!" but its not about strength but inteligence... So again - upper lever is for engaging four-wheel drive and you can engage it ONLY in terrain not on the normal road and always during very slow forward movement.
Lower lever is for engaging reduction gearbox in difficult terrain and it have not synchronization, so unlike previous one, you MUST NOT moving if you want to engage it, because you can tear up that gearbox if you try it when gears are turning. So you have to engage neutral on main gearbox, press clutch pedal and then you can manipulate with reduction gearbox lever. Lever itself have three positions, reduction is engaged in rear position of lever.
@@Lea_Kaderova thanks for that for the very well thought out explanation.
If that's you in the thumbnail, you're very pretty.
@@salsalero1277 Thanks.
