Wow! So well done. I’m pitiful when it comes to wiring stuff but you did such a great job of explaining that I think even I can do the install without screwing it up. Thanks for the clear explanation.
Man, awesome video, so glad that i got the tow opinion with the Aux switches on my Jeep Sahara JL. This video just sealed it for me to get these LED. Thanks for sharing
When you turn on your radio do you get any interference noise when the lights are turned on? I did the same, but on a certain radio channel I get incredible noise interference.
I have a jeep gladiator too but under the cowl cover do you know what the wiring harness is called because those got cut on mine and now it says check shifter and can’t put in gear
You don't have to fish the wires by the wiper motor, just use the factory notch in the hood gasket into the engine compartment. That's how I ran my KC Hilites and it keeps the wires out of the weather.
You didn’t have to hook anything to positive side of battery?- I have ‘21 Wrangler- trying to install KC Hilights- harness is designed for switch as well with relay and there isn’t a red wire - I got yellow/black/green/white - stumped on which to hook up
Where did you pull the wire up through the hood to your lights? I see some room at the hinge of the hood, but just wondering what access spot everyone is using.
Should be taped up and stowed inside the fender near the battery. It's typically easy to find. Maybe yours was skipped by mistake at the factory? Check with your dealership.
The color codes are all in the owners manual. The lower amp wires are great for LED lights, but if you have halogens you may need more amps. Or if you're going to run fans or other accessories the 40 amp wires are used.
At 4:25 obviously I meant to say passenger side. OOPS. :)
Best feature of any 4x4 on the market bar none.

I love you so so so so much,
I was confused like a rat with this harness situation.
Thank you, Sir.
Great video. You explained everything very well and answered a couple of questions that I haven't been able to find in other videos.
I will be getting a Jeep gladiator soon, videos like this will help build mine. Thanks for the time to make!

Yea the programming is very cool....I guess RUclips suggested this video because I googled where wires for aux switches was located...nice video
I loved this option on my Jeep JLU made it super easy wire lights.
Great job on the video, and great explanation of everything, thanks!!
Awesome thanks, this video clear all my questions. Keep up the good work

Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for
Great channel.
very nicely done sir. I have the same setup and look forward to hooking this up.
Ditto. Totally agree.

Nice video, removing those wipers is a PITA!
Thank you for your supporting the military
Well done thanks
Great video. To remove the complete cowl, are the windshield wipers the only thing left to remove to do that?
Nice video ! Is there an inline fuse required on the positive cable? Just wondering before I install mine . Thanks
Love your videos can you send a link of the lights you choose?

Any idea what the quick connect is on the driver's side cowl? It appears to be on the wiper motor harness. My Gladiator has this as well.
Any way to identify what each switch controls?
I have a jeep gladiator too but under the cowl cover do you know what the wiring harness is called because those got cut on mine and now it says check shifter and can’t put in gear
How did you connect the wires? Did you simply twist them together then wrapped it in electrical tape?
You don't have to fish the wires by the wiper motor, just use the factory notch in the hood gasket into the engine compartment. That's how I ran my KC Hilites and it keeps the wires out of the weather.
Good idea, do you have a picture of how you did it?
you removed the relay?
How much $ your gladiator cost?
I want to buy one. With manual transmition.

I missed it but did you cut the switch that came with the lights off?
do you know what that unused Elec connection is for, can be Seen when you removed the cowels. see it at 5:36
Where did you pull the wire up through the hood to your lights? I see some room at the hinge of the hood, but just wondering what access spot everyone is using.
There is a notch in the rubber seal between the engine compartment and the outside cowl piece
are you using aux 3 for both lights and use the same ground? or do i have to use aux 3 and 4?
it should be just Aux 3 since together the lights drew 4.25 amps and Aux 3 accommodates 15 amp
Is there an easy way to identify the wire group under the hood? Looking at mine can find one that just ends? And I do have the aux switch option.

What kind of accessories would use the 40 amp and what kind would use the 10 amp? How do you know which amp cord to use for a given accessory?
The color codes are all in the owners manual. The lower amp wires are great for LED lights, but if you have halogens you may need more amps. Or if you're going to run fans or other accessories the 40 amp wires are used.
Curious what the existing harness is under the cowling is for?
That's a fantastic question. It almost appears to be a sensor of some type.
Just wondering if you experienced any radio interference after the install.
I've had customers have static after adding LED lights on AM...never any issues with FM or Bluetooth ....FYI
When are you gonna take that top off? :D
