Thank you for these compilations and taking the time to include the links. They never fail to help me feel valid in my sexuality and gender expression. Love this community 💕
The last two clips really hit home for me. As a cis(?) boy with long hair, I live in a weird middle ground where on the one hand, it's stupid that people assume I'm a girl just because I have long hair. But on the other hand it genuinely feels kinda nice when people assume I'm a girl.
@@personone1382 I'm still figuring my shit out. But I don't think I'm a girl. Honestly I don't know what fucking labels apply to me. But I know my pronouns, and I know how I want to present. I understand my vibes, and that's good enough I think
Thank you for your videos. They are not only really well edited and a cause of serotonin for me, but I also appreciate the effort to include resources for people to educate themselves.
I think it comes from a old post on tumbler, it show a route from Google maps and the queer ppl took less minutes that a train. (Sorry if I wrote bad, English it's not my first language).
5:33 There was one time at my after school program when they had someone come in to explain like sexualities and genders. She was trans and lesbian, but decided not to take the surgeries. Girls, guys and nonbinary highs. You do not need to take the surgery in order to be trans or nonbinary. On a sidenote, dysphoria isnt the best way to tell if your trans or nonbinary either. The best way to tell is the euphoria you feel from someone calling you by those pronouns you adore so much. You do not need to fit into stereotypes or look a certain way to be a certain gender or sexuality either (lord knows Ive met enough bigots who claim that someone isnt gay because of the way they look). Sexuality and gender is about how you feel yourself and who you know you love. It isnt based on looks.
If you or an organization is able to set up a go fund me or some form of fundraising and figure out how those donations could go to funding those kinds of products, I could always link it along with other go fund me’s in the description or the comprehensive resource I’m going to be working on setting up. I don’t think I’d be able to help with setting that up for you but I could certainly give a platform for it so people who are interested in donating can help out once it’s set up!
5:05 the same author (along with another co-author) wrote a two book series, which is a queer, futuristic, genderbent retelling of King Arthur. The first book is called “once & future”, and I’d highly recommend it.
5:18 Love the representation, but why does it always have to be a love story? I just want non-binary/queer representation that's not love focused for once
QOTD: Maybe resources on online safe spaces for queer teens in Asia? It's very niche, I know, I've been looking for one myself but I can't find any based here (Philippines) or one that's international. Also, I love what you're doing!!! Finding a curated list of resources for queers has been difficult, especially if you live somewhere that doesn't have much LGBTQ presence. I do hope you're not burning yourself out, you always tell us to take care of ourselves so... Remember to try to eat and drink some water. If you have any medication you are supposed to take, remember to do so. If you are binding, bind safely, and if you are tucking please do so as well. Most of all, remember you are loved and valid and deserving.
That’s one of the things I think I’ll find the most difficulty in putting together this resource is finding resources for any places other than where I am - it can be difficult enough finding local resources. But what I think I may do is make a form and ask for people to submit any local queer resources they have access too so I can widen the reach of the resources I’m able to compile and make it more inclusive on a world wide scale (maybe even making an index in future where people can find organizations and resources by location) as I know a lot of the resources I can provide cater to the US. And don’t worry about me! This is going to be a very gradual project for me, one that I put together over time as I find new resources and get more recommended. It will also probably involve a lot of community work and conversation and so I won’t be handling this work alone. And thank you for the reminder to take care of myself, that’s really sweet of you!!
Yea whenever i'd try to look up one of the more controversial queer sources like trans or intersex people and their lives/struggles, most times i'm just directed towards transphobes or cis people debating their existence via their vague opinions over actual science evidence.
This video couldn't have come on a better day. Today I finally figured out my sexuality. Haven't figured out gender yet but that will come with time. (It did) For now I use he/they pronouns and I am biromantic asexual. I thought I would share my victory with you all. I hope you all have a wonderful day/afternoon/night. Love you all❤️ Edit: I decided to start using she/they pronouns at school to see how I like it. So far I like it Edit 2: Ive pretty much figured out gender and have been using nonbinary as a label for the last couple weeks. And I've changed my pronouns to he/she/they and I've changed my name at school as I'm still closeted Edit 3: I changed my pronouns to he/they, I also got a binder and am still closeted

Oh also about the QOTD: Some more details on abrosexuals? I've recently came to terms with being genderfluid and use the pan/demi/omni labels for my sexuality until i learned abrosexual existed. It seems rarely talked about despite having a very simplistic concept. (It's just the genderfluid of sexualities, your attraction to genders change. I.e from gay to ace to demi.) Obviously it's different for every individual how they express or feel their abro-ness.
Ok but, "the point is in space, and you're twenty fucking leagues under the sea" is so powerful and I will be quoting this at some point in the future.
I really love your videos, they're so wholesome and it makes me smile how much effort you put into then, do you think you could also start putting in a go to bed reminder in the end of the videos? I have troubles going to bed at decent times, and I feel like having that little reminder may be really nice

Hey, I don't mean to be rude and it's great that you include so many links in the description, but I think a one time message of this at the beginning instead of multiple ones would not disrupt the flow of the video so much. Anyways, great work, love your content :)
Thank you. I needed this right now. QOTD: As a queer person, I would be interested in a compilation of queer-friendly numbers and websites (preferably international) for confused people. Everyone I have ever had to come out to has always been curious about my gender and stuff. I never felt like like I was giving a proper explanation of queer struggles. So, I wouldn’t mind getting better information along with the science supporting it.
Of course!! I’ve been working on the document over the past few days and one of the things I’ve been doing is going through each label for queer identities and explaining it briefly as well as including several resources with it that go more in depth. One thing I will certainly recommend to you now that will help a lot for what it sounds like you need is a resource called The Gender Dysphoria Bible - it has an in depth look on the history and science of being transgender and gender dysphoria so could help if you want to refer people to a resource with that kind of content!
I am also just working on trying to give an explanation of queer struggles as well as resources for people to learn about them in more depth, those kind of topics will likely come later down the line in the resource as I want to give them the attention they need so I’ll have to be working on them gradually.
@@gremlinsunited2433 Thanks for the recommendation! I checked out The Gender Dysphoria Bible and it is really helpful. I eagerly await your completion of the document on queer identities.

Of course! I’m glad that helped out!!
