  • Hi! I’m Andromeda (she/they) thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy!
Question of the Day: If there was something specific for you, what made you start questioning your sexuality and/or gender?
Remember to try to eat and stay hydrated. Remember to follow precautions and bind safely if you are binding. These include not wearing a binder for over 8 hours, stretching, taking breaks, and just breathing. And if you are tucking please follow precautions so you can do it safely. Just like binding, you shouldn’t tuck for over 8 hours. If you can take breaks, then it is advised. With both binding and tucking please read up on advises precautions for safety and possible risks. And remember that no matter what you are going though now, no matter how hard it will seem- it always gets better. I know this is something you’ve probably heard a lot but you only hear it because it’s true. It could get harder before it gets better but it does get better. Lastly, remember that you are loved and valid! I love you all! Stay safe!!! ❤️❤️❤️

QOTD: I have gay uncles so homophobia was never a thing in my house hold, and I’d never really had a crush on anyone (except recently when crushes have started to develop). The real thing was though when I was designing characters and thought “oh I have to give them boyfriends” then realized I couldn’t draw boys so made all my characters gay. The thing that’s been making me question my gender is the fact that I always refer to my self in my friend group as “more like a boy than a girl at this point”. I’ve also realized that when I think about they or he pronouns I don’t get uncomfortable, I kinda like it even (But I don’t know yet lol) it feels right no matter if I use he/she/they pronouns. So all in all: I’m an indecisive dumb dumb who overthinks things and that why I’m a pan queer disappointment

QOTD: I realized that I liked girls because of those interactive games, like “Choices” and “Episode” and stuff like that, y’know? And since a lot of them have romance in them I realized that whenever I chose the male romantic interest option it felt weird and uncomfortable but the female option felt…right? I guess? But yeah, then I developed a crush on a girl and I was like “oh, well, guess I’m gay!” And then my identity was much more complicated, I was convinced that I was a lesbian and then my mind was like “hey so you got it all figured out then? How about an identity crisis! You use all pronouns!!” And then my mind was like “see, I like where you’re going with this, but he/him/his pronouns and the name “Matthew”! Eh? Eh? Ehhhh?” So…I’m a straight trans man who uses he/him/his pronouns!

Answer to the QOTD: Funny thing is, the thing that made me question my sexuality was my friend being sad one day. You see, we were sitting on the bus and they were crying so I was trying to make them feel better but I didn’t know how so I said, “Wanna know my deepest secret?” and they were like, “Sure,” so I just kind of sat there for a moment scrambling for something to say and the thing that came out was “I’m a lesbian.?”
From there I just sort of kept digging myself further and further into the fib until I had came out to the entire grade and decided that I was already this far, might as well actually start researching more into the LGBTQ+ Community and discovered I actually _was_ queer (although I no longer identify as a lesbian).
P.S. This happened a couple years back. My whole grade was very supporting and so was my family :)

Answer to QOTD: When my best friend that I have known since we were 3 years old came out as trans, I realized that I didn't have to be a girl if it didn't make me happy. Then he came out as a demiboy (he/they/it) and I realized that there were genders outside of the gender-binary. And the song Home by Cavetown really hit me in the chest. So hello! I'm a nonbinary lesbian, and I use they/them pronouns.

    Qotd:
I think i realized something wasn’t right when I was in sixth grade. There was this really pretty girl I had a huge crush on
(I identified as female then). At the time I ended up playing it off as “just a gal appreciating another gal pal :)”. Then one of my friends (who also identified as female at the time) came out as lesbian. I had no idea what that was before they came out, so when they explained what it was to me I realized something wasn’t right. Instead of doing anything useful with this revelation I just shoved it away to deal with later lol
THEN a couple of years later the same friend came out as trans. I was still unpacking the “I like girls” situation, so I really wasn’t up to the idea of questioning my gender identity. I do remember thinking at the time that it would be cool if I was trans.
So here I am now, a nonbinary, pansexual mess :)

Answer to QOTD: So one day my bff sends me this video about different sexualities (wasn't really out of the blue cause we were talking about how people can be attracted to fictional characters). Till then i hadn't even heard of all the different lgbt+ terms so it was an eye opener. The only thing i knew of the lgbt was of gay men and how they were portrayed on tv. I come from a conservative Christian household but we never really talked about homosexuality and the like. When she sent me the video, i was welcomed to the fact that I may have been queer(bi/pan) still figuring it out lol. Though looking back it was kinda obvious. I had crushes on guys and girls in my class, Danny and Sam from Danny Phantom, even when i wasn't sure what gender someone belonged to i could still find them attractive, etc ,etc.

Answering the QOTD: I kinda already know I wasn’t straight my entire life? And if I was it wasn’t a big problem? Like I grew up surrounded by lgbtq+ stuff on the internet and it never clicked to me back then that it wasn’t the norm to be gay in today society until I was like 11. Finding out my gender was a different mess since I also didn’t care that much. Unlike most people I don’t get dysphoria about my body, I get euphoria. I learn recently that I feel better if people refer to me as they/them and not put me in the confines of the gender binary. answer to the qotd: it was actually really weird. i had literally never thought about my sexuality, never wondered why i was SO into lgbtq+ issues right and history. and then my best friend came out as non-binary and i was like “huh what if i’m queer”
and then it hit me like a ducking truck that i was bi. just. just all of a sudden. i was like HOW DID I NEVER REALIZE THAT 🤦🏻‍♀️ like, it felt so obvious after that. no questioning period or a anything lol

Answer to the QOTD: in my first year of college I saw a tumblr post that was like," bi culture is this/bi people do this" and I went, "huh, I do a lot of those things... am I bi?". It wasn't until several months later when I opened the door to the girl running for president and my heart started pounding at the sight of her pixie cut that I flipped into "I want hair like that!" mode and then cut my own hair similarly. I thought that was it but then continued to question for 2 more years before realizing I am bi!

My answer to QOTD: what made me question my sexuality was learning about sexuality! when i was younger i never knew sexuality existed and anyone loved anyone. It was never mentioned at home at all. I never really knew if someone liked the same sex it was called something. It was just living for me (thats how i wish it was honestly) and once i was educated on reality it made me question. For my gender, i never really felt joy when i got compliments used for female and never really felt connected fully to my born gender. I lacked that feel of wanting to be pretty or cute. I always wanted to just look good, look good meaning how i like to look on my own. Not trends or things that society have made for male and female, but what i liked.
    I am a Agender (They/She) Lesbian/Sapphic :)
    Have a good day everyone!

Qotd: Hello lovely people of the internet! When I was in the first grade, I remember having a conversation with the people in the lunch line about gender. At one point, I said something along the lines of “I really wish I was a boy”. (I was born a female)
I didn’t think much of it until quarantine. I never took the time to look within myself and find that I was actually comfortable bring called a boy. Sometimes a girl, sometimes one more than the other, and sometimes neither (non-binary).
As for my sexuality though, I gave a little thought to it in 5th grade but never looked into it. It wasn’t until the middle of 6th grade where I had a feeling that I was probably bi (bi-curious if I may). The problem was I had a big crush on one of my friends ( a guy) so I didn’t really think I liked girls as well as boys. At the time, the guy already had a gf so I tried not to interfere, but it was so hard to see the person I like be with someone else. I befriended said gf, and we hung out a lot. Not alone specifically, but with our friend group. There was a week where I stared at her, thinking to myself that she’s really pretty. It was all so sudden and I’d shake my head at those thoughts. Before, when I looked her, I just felt hurt because I wish I was her. But in that week? Those moments? I wished I was with her.
//Bonus: Remember that scene in Aladdin where Jamsine was trying to distract/seduce Jafar so Aladdin can save them? Woo-wee.. Younger me felt so flustered and had butterflies in their stomach watching that.

QOTD: a conversation with my dad about WW2. I was talking to my dad about WW2 and I brought up Alan Turing, saying how even though he saying millions, because he was gay he was severely punished. My dad said he doesn’t really understand being gay because to him it would be weird to be with another man, but that it doesn’t affect him so why should he care? At that moment my brain went “wait, you would find it weird to be in a relationship with another man?” Then unpacked that over the next few days and realized I was bisexual. Too be honest it was pretty obvious, with the inside joke in the friend group being that I was gay, and about 5 different queer people all saying I was fruity. My defense was always “I’m not gay, I like women!” Never denying liking men though. That statement is also ironic because a few months later I realized I was also trans, making it gay to like women.

Answer to QOTD: it started when i re-watched victorious and i thought i like jade's style(ye ahá, keep saying that to yourself if it lets you sleep at night) but i knew i liked beck, the thing was when i understood that i liked them both in the same way, now i identify as bi/pan and with gender, i started to feel dysphoric over my body, something felt off, but just sometimes, i digged up a bit more about genders and when i realized i was genderfluid it made so much sense to me, and the pronouns were kinda complicated to pick, so i go by all pronouns

QOTD: I used to joke saying my crushes or people I’d go on a date with would be a few characters from a few webtoon I read, all of which are girls. It b3came an after school bus joke that I was lesbian/gay (7th grade is when it started) I always denied it complaining I was straight. Though when I thought of a date with said characters, it was like, a movie, or more friend-friend. Well, in 8th grade, online school, I formed more of my opinions about the lgbtq+ community (positive of course) well, then I got some lgbtq+ ticktocks in my recommended. I watched them, found the, funny, and one or two very relatable, well, I then got an Asexual ticktock complation, and felt that it felt right to me. I related way too much, and it just stuck with me. Well, I looked up what it was, for more involved with figuring it out, and news flash: been identifying as an Asexual Aromantic since early this year. Though I was feeling like since I tend to like looking at girls and rarely other people, stopped saying I was Aromantic, though I was leaning there. A week ago learned about oriented asexual aromantics, and learned about Aesthetic attraction. Since, I’m using Aromantic again, and figuring out my Aesthetic attraction. (Definatly includes girls tho)
Sorry it’s long but that’s the story. Plus, I use any and all pronouns, and don’t feel that right being referred too with the ‘queen princess lady’ type female references so thats something.
    Sorry for spelling errors :l

Answer to the QOTD: everything started about six months ago when I started getting a lot of gay intrusive thoughts (I have OCD btw) of me liking girls and I kept denying it and then one day in the shower I finally excepted it. I had a lot of internalized homophobia cause I go to a Catholic Church and well ya know how that goes. But I’m fine now with my abrosexual self and my gender identity crisis started well I really don’t know when but I remember watching some non binary Tiktok videos on RUclips and I found out I could really relate to them but not all the time and that makes me so confused and I have been doing research on the different labels and I dunno but I do know that the answer will come eventually 😇. So if you’re in the same boat questioning whatever it is you’re question about yourself, don’t worry about it too much and just live your life. Don’t stress too much about it and the answer will come when the time is right. Stay hydrated and be safe! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️😝

QOTD: about a year ago I started having feelings for my best friend and realised I had a crush on her. That’s what really set me off on my ✨sexuality journey✨ and I did lots of those sexually quizzes that I’m sure most queer people have done at some point 😂 I also did some research into less common identities but I was perfectly comfortable with the simple term ✨lesbian✨ My feelings became stronger though the year and in the summer I came out to her and told her I had a crush on her. She reacted very positively and that conversation was wonderful.
She said she didn’t feel the same way but I wasn’t expecting much anyway. I’m working on dampening down the crush and the feelings are much less of pain and more of happy love 🥰 I think we have come closer as friends because of it and she’s amazing and I love her and that’s all that matters ❤️🧡🤍💖

To answer the QOTD: I don’t remember when I started questioning my sexuality since I kinda have bad memory but I remember that I was on TikTok and this person who uses any pronouns came on my fyp and i was like “oh fuck” in a kinda wait why does this make me feel this way sort way. Though I do remember that the first character that I crushed on that really made me question my sexuality a lot more was Nadia from the game The Arcana.

  • @Vestellar
    @Vestellar 3 года назад +1

QOTD: For my sexuality I don't remember exactly how but sometime in middle school I figured out I was bi, since I didn't have a preference. Later coming out as pan since I thought it fit better for me. Only much later in highschool, when I had told a younger queer friend (they knew much more than me) they said I could have been asexual. Since then, I've identified as asexual and eventually aromatic as well.
For my gender, earlier this year honestly I was just watching a lot of One Topic about trans/nonbinary folk, and eventually started questioning myself. I don't have dysphoria so I had trouble with coming to the fact I could be enby or trans. I managed to convince myself that I can be and am infact non-binary. I love it so much, genders are overrated. Some days I just feel like I'm faking it and I always have to remind myself of all the non cis things I'd think/do to make me feel valid.

    • @dangerousdinosaur1640
      @dangerousdinosaur1640 3 года назад +1

I relate to the gender parts. I don't feel intense dysphoria so it was difficult to feel valid, often going back and forth about this. But I always keep what One Topic said at heart "if you think you are faking it, you're most likely not" also "anyone can question their gender, but If the thought of not being trans scares you, then you have your answer". Stay strong my friend, and you are valid no matter what :)

Answer to QOTD: I figured out I was a she/ they and a lesbian Allll during covid. Men never worked out for me. I didn’t understand why- I thought I hadn’t found the right one. Everything changed when I fell in to a depression during covid and I started questioning who I really was. I then thought about it for a long, long time and eventually figured out who I really am. Now I much doing much better and I am happy and comfortable with who I am. Sadly, I live in a extremely homophobic place, and I can’t move yet, so I would risk everything I had coming out. I plan to leave before that happens. I am still happy that I have tons of privilege (with being white and wealthy), a supportive mom, and a great sibling.

QOTD: So one day at school, a bunch of girls I was friends with decided it would be funny to put makeup on me and some of the other guys. I ended up wearing one of their jackets for the rest of the day, and honestly it just felt great. Of course, I didn't actually think about my gender at all, I just thought I really liked dressing up.
Then about a year later, my D&D group was on like our 4th campaign? Anyway, one of them was like "Hey, why do you only play women?" and I blurted out "I dunno, I'd just prefer to be a woman". Now, what I /meant/ to say was "I'd just prefer to -play as- a woman" or something, but hey one Freudian slip later and here we are.

My answer to QOTD: I found like 2 gay people on tiktok or something and followed them, then suddenly I was on gay tiktok and fell in love with it.
Then somehow I saw gloom's coming out video from 2 years ago where she said she was pan, so I researched tons of stuff on Google and tiktok, then I had a think about it and realised I'm pan.
Then I watched a bunch of coming out and hinting videos and one said they were genderfluid so I found out what that was and I knew I always hated being a girl so I decided I'm genderfluid.
Then a month ago I thought even harder, so it turns out I'm omni with a preference to fems and enbies.
I also keep thinking about how I was always gay, I just didn't know it yet.
I'm currently closeted and i keep hinting to my friends and they aren't catching on BUT IT SEEMS SO OBVIOUS.
Once I asked my friend "rate our friend group from most likely to least likely to be lgbt AND SHE PUT ME LAST. I think she just didn't want to offend me or smthn because she thinks I'm straight. And she put my homophobic friend (who isn't really my friend because I hate her but she's my bestie's friend soooo) FIRST. LIKE WHAT?
And I was talking to 2 of my friends walking home from school and said something like "i can attract the girls and the boys" AND I DID THE 👋💅 THING TOO.
and I posted a video on tiktok of "which vibes do I give off?" And there was a flags section and someone picked everything that I would've said about myself including the flag and I replied saying how that was literally me. And my friends follow me on tiktok.
I'm gonna change my pfp to have the omni flag in it and see if they say anything.
If you read that long rant, thanks lol. Please go drink water and eat food if its a reasonable time where you live (where I am its 3:27am :')) ok goodbye now 👋

    Answer to QOTD:
It was funny in hindsight bc my friend had to tell ME I was gay (now queer and transmasc). It was the day I fell short from hockey team, whilst my best friend got in. I got so upset even though I hated hockey. Talked to my other friend about it, she said "bro, maybe you like them? That's why you felt so sad bc it was never about the game." And everything clicked in me so WOW. It took me a much longer time coming to conclusion tho, as I had a boyfriend at the time and was in massive denial.
For my gender, I just started watching some trans gender videos from Jamie and One Topic. But I think what hit me was the time my friend's friend referred to me via text by "they/them", and my soul have never felt happier. From then I went on a whole journey of figuring things out and landing on non-binart masculine/trans masc/demiboy/trans man.
