No matter if she likes it or not, I promise when she’s older she’ll appreciate the time and effort you put into taking care of her hair. Forever grateful for my mom and auntie who would make me sit for hourssssss just to do my little twists and braids🥰
What makes you grateful now because I always wonder if my baby girls will appreciate all the time, love, patience, and care I put into making sure their hair is healthy, natural, clean, and done. They hate the process but love the end results and proud and confidence with of their hair. Growing up my mom was like most other mom back then and resorted to heat and perms to manage
@@mzstacystacks3168 I am grateful that they made me love my curls and did all that they could to take care of it. The way you washed your baby hair brought memories back to me . My mother used to wash my hair while l layed on the sink so no shampoo would get in my eyes.
Don't use tap water with your steamer as it will result in chlorine desposits. You can try distill water or you can catch water from the rainfall and bottle it.
My 7yr old and I watch your videos. She cries EVERY time I do her hair. I often tell her, “Sydney cries too, you will be ok”....I also ask her if she wants me to cut it off like Sydney chose to, so we don’t always have to go through these huge episodes whenever it’s time to do her hair!.....We love watching y’all ❤️.
Adorable. Her hair is thick and beautiful. Teaching her at this early age of her life will help her when she's older what products and processes work best for her. She'll take good care of it well into the future. Love to see her smiling and happy. Good job Mom.
This brought back so many memories, when I was a young girl, my mother used to wash our hair with bar soap,so I ended up washing my 5 daughters hair with Ivory bar soap, they al have extra thick hair pass their shoulders, like mine,. My daughters are grown up, they laugh at me,because I'm still using bar soap and Vaseline in my hair. Your daughter hair is beautiful! 🙏🏽👍🏻👍🏻
When I was younger I was real tender headed my mom was gentle and I still cried. Sydney will be fine because her hair has to get done. My mother didn't cut my hair so I had to get use to getting my hair done. Sydney hair looks beautiful ❤
maybe see a dermatologist or a specialist see if they can prescribe something for sensitive scalp/tender headedness. years ago i tried coconut oil and Jamaican black castor oil and it made the front of my hairline (widows peak) tender headed. & for the last 10 years it has not changed. it literally feels as tho if i brush it i am plucking each strand one by one out my scalp. she may be experiencing that pain throughout her head. People often dont realize as they arent feeling it but it can be quite painful. Lots of ppl peg the child as being dramatic and some may very well be but others may be in extreme discomfort. I love that you are always soft with your childs head but just thought this comment may be helpful.
I'm blessed that I had that with mom as a youth annnnd still do now as an adult annnd she's amazing with All of her grand and great grandchildren!! #IllAlwaysLoveMyMommaShesMyFavoriteGirl !!!💯💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🤗🤗🤗
Good job on her hair . Its wash day for my daughters today and this was motivational. Also if you have a local beauty store they have this neck block to hold the head to make it more comfortable for her and easier for you.
My son acts the same way! I solely finger detangle with him as well. I use a cheap facial steamer on both of our hair. Yassssss why spend extra money if you don't have to.
I have low porosity hair and I deep condition with shea moisture black Jamaican castor oil masque and then use my clothes steamer. The steamer really does make a difference, especially for low porosity
Sydney reminds me of my granddaughter, she's simply beautiful. Thank you so much for the hair steamer idea. I will be making a Wal-Mart purchase tomorrow belove❤
Hi ladybugs 😍😍 OMG‼ Sydney hair growing so well. I'm glad to see she was crying just alot of movement and 😁💜💜 Thanks for the video I'm going to check this product out myself.
Brought back memories of my mom washing my hair while I'm laying on the counter awwww. I love steaming my hair with my hair mask on. I got the plug in bonnet steamer from Amazon it's a game changer.

@@BL3SSed-Bliss it was okay, no major differences. Maybe if I would’ve used it more consistently it would’ve been better. But it wasn’t enough of a noticeable change for me to keep doing it 🤷🏾♀️

I bought my daughter a hair steamer off of Amazon for like $20 bucks, my daughter is a Sidney #2 hair thick as heck and she’s very tender headed so I made the decision to lock up her hair and that was the best decision for me they are so nice and neat it’s been two months and her dreadlocks are beautiful she gets it washed and touch up every 6 weeks and the biggest thing IM FREE OF THE CRYING 😢 😭 😿 she’s sits in the chair like big girl it only takes a hour and where done by the way she’s 5 yes old.....
Beautiful I started noticing the difference immediately with the steamer and I promise you I use to wash my daughters hair the same exact way because she was scared of water getting in her face but eventually she grew out of it and soon she was even washing her own hair but I will tell you it was a process she’s now 11 that wasn’t until she was 9 when she decided to take care of her own hair so just give her time TNX for sharing
You can use a plastic cap and the steamer for the same affect. But her hair has grown a lot I remember you cutting it or you can use a heating cap which is cheap from Amazon.
Hello the last time I saw you all, you were cutting the back of her hair. Her hair has grown, and she was a big girl getting her hair washed and steamed.

Heyyy y’all!!! Good to see you two. And Miss Cydni chile!!! Lol. I’ve been gone too. I had twins in January. Just now getting used to these late nights smh. Anywho.... have you ever tried using authentic African black soap in place of shampoo??? Naptural85 makes a shampoo out of it. But I take it in the shower as is and put the bar straight to my hair. It feels soo good after shampooing. You should try it one day.
I'm watching your daughter's face, and I know you said she's tender headed, but surely this level of pain shouldn't be normal. I see that you're gentle. Wouldn't it be sensory issues?
I love how Sydney hate the process but is always so happy and pleased with the end results.

So healthy Q-redew has a comb on there's, it's great.
I been doing this for a While on my hair and it works so good
So what’s the ultimate purpose of using a steamer? Could you use this for deep conditioning treatments?
The heat aids in hydrating hair. The steam lifts the hair cuticle allowing products to deeply penetrate. Just like a deep conditioning.
After the gorilla glue incident tho i i just think u should use products for its intended use.
This is actually quite dangerous smh
Yeah, I was thinking the same way. Hope no one burns themselves or their babies.
