Wow! It's so good to see someone with actual 4c hair on RUclips. My hair looked just like yours in my 20s. Hair dressers would be SHOCKED after washing it cuz everyone tries to say 'nappy hair don't grow.' My hair's a lot thinner now but it would've been so nice to have someone doing tutorials like this back in the day. Much love!
I just found your channel this weekend and it’s so refreshing! No shade but I get tired of seeing all these silky curls in natural hair videos. It’s hard to find natural hair videos with 4b or 4c and even the 4a videos are lookin a lil silky and too curly to even be type 4🤔 I feel like your hair is the more typical hair for black women. But if you go off youtube you’d think we all have these silky shiny loose curls.
Legally Afro I totally agree 🗣 Let’s be honest most black women (actual black women, not biracial or multiracial) have type 4 hair. Only like 2 out of 10 of us are walking around with anything less than type 4.
I use it to refresh and add moisture back to my hair and I'll never go back to not steaming my hair. I love the device so much! I don't even have to re-add products to my hair! It literally feels like I washed my hair, but I didn't. Left me SHOOK!
Gurllllllll your finished look was EVERYTHING.. the makeup, the volumized stretched hair & the baby face .. I never realized how young you look lol but thats a really good thing 💚 great video!
I do steam as I am low porosity. It’s amazing when I need to refresh/remoisturize. I wish the water holder was bigger. Hope you find it useful, as always thanks for sharing! Love the end results btw!
I love steaming! I bought a hooded steamer and I love doing aloe vera treatments - applied straight from the plant - before steaming. Talk about LOVELINESS!!!
I have a hooded steamer and I LOVE IT!! I steam to get more moisture in my hair and it has DEFINITELY aided in my moisture retention game!!! P.S. Your smile and skin is EVERYTHING!!!!
Yass hunni it definitely works just have to use the right products👍 don't sleep on Paul mitchell product love the vegan hydrate line really love all the conditioner better than the black branded hairlines
For the first time in my life I actually found a RUclips channel with hair like mine. I went natural last year so I'm very new to this.( I was relaxed all my life) thank you so much for your content. These videos are going to help a lot 💓
Girl! I had to subscribe the second I seen you take your wrap off. I’ve never seen someone else have 4c hair as thick as mine! I just got a big chop last week, so i’m bingeing hair videos lol. SO glad I found you!
Yes girl I love my qredew I use it all the time especially for refreshing and I had it now for about 4 years and i never had an issue with using it, it still works great as I first time I used it and I definitely thinks it’s a good investment tfs❤️❤️❤️
Hey! I use a hooded steamer and it is amazing. Steaming is the only way that my hair is deep conditioned well. Can I ask you how you keep your 4C hair moisturized daily? I can never find a good daily moisturizer.
I'm soooo glad you reviewed this! 1. your reviews are always so honest 2. I believe my hair texture/type is similar to yours 3. I put it on my Christmas list like last week lol *crosses fingers that I get it so I can see if my results are similar. Thank you for the review!
That twist out is on fleek. Beautiful girl. I haven't steamed with a hair steamer but I notice my hair is much softer and devined after a heated towel is over my head for about 15-20 min. You vids are awesome. I subbed
I actually bought a hair steamer cap from wish app. Lol I’ve been using it once a week with a protein treatment. It has actually help with my heat damage I got afew months ago from a silk press at salon.
Very nice results. I really want to try this for my hair. Your hair looked moisturized and streched nicely when you styled it. That can difficult to acheive on 4c hair. I appreciate your videos because you have true 4c hair like mine. Great results.
I love the Q-Redew!! I have had mine for years (like 4+) so I am in need of a new one. I mean It still works, but it's not like it was when I got it (probably due to my butter fingers). It really is an amazing tool. I especially love it for protective styles because I don't have to soak my faux locs (or my hair in general), it gives my scalp and hair a boost. TFS!
I love my Q-Redew! It has really helped my hair throughout my natural hair journey! The Q- Redew works wonders for my natural hair. I use it before styling my hair or before doing my twist out on my clean hair. 💞🔥😍
Q Renew's quality control is bad and the parts inside are cheap, distilled water or no distilled water. Mine lasted less than a year. And if you put the tips on your head (like you'd assume you are supposed to) the steam can burn you. I suggest a cheaper alternative --- a facial steamer (K-Skin on amazon) and a cheap plastic scarf-shaped rain bonnet from Sally's or anywhere you can get one under $3. The K-skin 15 minutes of steam, no signs of slowing down and has a lid to store the rain bonnet -- and I haven't been using distilled water that often. 15 to 20 minutes is plenty of time to move your head around, steam rising into the rain bonnet, to get your entire head.
i have a q redew and I absolutely love it!!! Especially now that it's getting cold and I'm color treated. Dryness is trying to take me down. Best investment i've made so far for my hair
I need to start steaming my hair cuz when i go to my hair dresser she always put conditioner in my hair, cover it with a shower cap and pop me under the dryer for 30mins and rinse out the conditioner with cool water and i dont even care if she does my hair after that cuz the way my hair be feeling once she dries it...😌pure love
Suuuuuper cute! I love it! I was looking for a steamer so I did enjoy the video. Unfortunately, I don't believe I could use it because I have locs, so I couldn't comb through it. Verrry cute, though!
Your results came out so good! I have high porosity hair too but since I’ve heard so many great things about this steamer, I had to get one. I’ll be trying mine tomorrow for detangling and conditioning!
It's so refreshing to see someone like you with hair similar to mine. I've never steamed though. Now I'm curious to try it. LOVE LOVE LOVE the makeup too Boo, and especially the lipstick tho. What shade is that?
Your hair Super cute and so are You 💃 I can see the growth with this twist-out... Lexi that hair is Bomb.com 💥 Are you planning on reviewing the Rev-Air Dryer?
Love Love Love Ur Video!!! Ur Beautiful, and So Is Ur Hair...... 😄 Thank U For This Video, I Have Been Thinking About Buying The Q-Redew... After Seeing This, I Will... Thank U Again....
In order to do a proper review of rice water, she would have to start using it now and come back in a few months to actually so her results, if she has any. Her hair is already pretty healthy, so I dont think she needs to risk her hair health to try fad diys
I just popped on your channel and I'm looking at your hair it looked the same I'll be wanting to press my hair out I don't want it to be shriveled up I blow dry it and get up under the dryer and style my hair that's it I don't never wear my hair out unless I have braids or something

But shes type 4
@@nx1100 she means type 4 without manipulating it to a silky look. Or a true type 4C
Black women can have any texture. I see more 3c loose curls on black women than type 4 actually.
Just Shawne I so agree. I'm a 4c too
Legally Afro I totally agree 🗣 Let’s be honest most black women (actual black women, not biracial or multiracial) have type 4 hair. Only like 2 out of 10 of us are walking around with anything less than type 4.
I'm so glad you doing this videos, it is hard to find someone with 4c on RUclips.

Sooooo no one is gonna talk about the porcelain like skin???? Like, 😩
Her skin look almost perfect!!!
I have a hooded steamer. I think the idea of the Q Redew is to actually pull it through the hair the way you would a comb or a pick.
Where did you get your hooded steamer?
@@jadafloyd7924 AMAZON
@@jadafloyd7924 Walmart has them
Literally came to the comments just to say your skin looks FLAWLESS! The clarity and glow you have is just beautiful 💛

What is low porosity? How do you determine that? Thanks
I love how natural you are, I love how you are a real 4c sister with my hair texture, and your beautiful subscribe!!!!

@Timetrae, which steamer did you use? :-)

I kinda sorta steam lol. I go to a sauna once a month and I’ll wash/deep condition/steam my hair while I’m there. I definitely love the results!
Great idea!
Yesss, your hair came out 2cute after the refreshed steam! So much definition and bounce!
Thanks so much

ansn1989 try amla and olive heavy cream by qhemet biologics
ansn1989 ghana goddess has a good review on them and other good 4c moisturizers

Hope you get it ❤️
I bought one and sold it. I barely used it and I preferred the way my hair feels using my heating cap.
Thanks for sharing. My hair liked heat too I’m just so lazy I usually just put on a plastic bag and that’s it
You're really pretty. The purple!
2 years later, are you still reaching for it? I've been considering making the purchase.

@@jborrego2406 What?! That's crazy! Not cool...
@Sammy Nammy Yes, this is true! I used distilled water, my butter finger self just dropped it and cracked it, still works a lil bit. Thanks!
I love my Q-Redew! It has really helped my hair throughout my natural hair journey! The Q- Redew works wonders for my natural hair. I use it before styling my hair or before doing my twist out on my clean hair. 💞🔥😍
I never tried a hair steamer before. I may need to try this item. I have not had a relaxer since 2007 and I talk about my journey in some videos.

Sounds like a good idea, would a plastic cap suffice?
You’re really the Queen of twistouts 😍😍😍 it’s funny how it takes us so long to twist our hair and it takes us minutes to undo them lol
Do you still steam? I just ordered one yesterday and can't wait to try!
I haven’t tried steaming yet but i really want to! My hair is low porosity so i use heat to deep container and it helps me so much too
The twist out was beautiful 🤩
I do, I'm 4c low porosity. I have a hooded steamer and I love it!! I need to look into getting this for my girls, they hate the one I have lol!
First comment and like🥰 this has to be my favorite twistout you ever did 😍
Awww thanks !! I need to do it on dry hair more often
Do you still use the Qredew?
Damn that twistout and make up look 😍🔥🔥🔥 this has to be my fave twistout you've done!!
i have a q redew and I absolutely love it!!! Especially now that it's getting cold and I'm color treated. Dryness is trying to take me down. Best investment i've made so far for my hair
Hi! Wonderful results. I'm definitely going to get me one. I was skeptical at first so thanks for this video. Perfect timing!!!!
Please keep us updated on how you continue to incorporate it in your hair care processes
And the twist out is BOMB 😍😍

I have low porosity hair and there are two things I'm scared of. Steaming and applying heat, and protein treatments
Yesss! I love my qredew. It makes my deep conditioner work so much better too in my opinion.
So I'm clearly mad late with my comment, but your hair looks AMAZING!!
