I honestly love this guy. Doesn’t matter what random shit it is I enjoy his content. If you did a long form watch video I’d watch it and I’m not even a watch person.
You know at first I thought the watch thing was a joke but now I'm thinking that he really really likes his unique watches and honestly that's pretty cool.
For anyone wondering about why someone would spend money on watches, well built watches from good brands are some of the best investments money can buy, much safer and more profitable than any kind of stocks, crypto, etc. And you don’t find many people “reselling” watches, you buy them and hold, reselling is for the hypebeast community where people will pay more just to look cool for however long the trend is trending. In the watch community, you buy a timepiece and hold onto it. For example, lets say you just got a big bonus at work and have 7500 to spend. You could either buy a bunch of designer stuff that loses its value as time goes on and it phases out of style (unless it becomes viewed as a “classic”, in which it would retain the value.) Or, like me, you’d choose to go purchase a nice watch to add to your collection, like a Rolex Explorer II. Not iced out junk, just a plain, sophisticated Explorer. You could buy this watch for about 7500 at most stores, and hold onto it. Rolexes are meant to be working watches, which means you can put wear and tear on the watch without it losing value, and at the end of maybe a twenty year period, that watch would be worth around probably 15-20k. Or you could choose to build a collection and keep investing in watches, as there’s no chance of a “crash” in value, and maybe hand them on to your son someday. I know i just typed a huge paragraph, but if you have any questions about watches or the watch community in general, please let me know, i’m happy to answer any questions, and possibly recommend some nice starter pieces if you’re thinking about starting a collection of your own. God bless!
That last watch is the middle ground for analog to digital. Since it tells you the instant time, like a digital. But can't quite tell how much you have last, as an analog does.
That first one is great for tricking people, maybe grabbing a pair of glasses and making it seem like you can see something they cant. Or just see something they cant straight up. Lol
