Ferry excels in long-range combat, using the reach of her whip to keep foes at bay. However, we found that skill gaps between players could lead to one-sided dominance.
As a former Ferry main I'm still tilt on the changes and some of her buffs are pretty situational. The Ed ball is fun to look at but I'll doubt you see it at higher levels. Sadly I hanged up her main status and picked up Versusia, as I think Versusia was basically built to look outstandishly strong and does everything Ferry want to do, but better. Versusia still allows the zoning and set play that Ferry has always permitted but without the extensive drawbacks. Thanks for the video summary.
That twitter combo is actualy real. Fukuhara was playing free lobby after the patch relise, and there was a Ferry player who landed it on him. Exept it was even better version of the combo doing 50% of the healthbar. Ultimate Trauma (spining pink shit) rigth now creates a setup for blocked 2H. 2H blocked, dude falls to the ground, Pink shit sucks him from any distance, and it is unblockable. The reward is not big, b/c of the ultimate starter nerf, but she has an AA combo now.
Oh, Ferry... soon you won't have legs either... I consider the 22M (far geegee toss) to be a nerf, if anything My entire time playing her, I never once wanted it to go that far. The previous range was a sweet spot that deters fullscreen opponents from closing the distance, or risk running into the falling geegee and the Ferry player likely converting with 236M. Now, it'll give fullscreen players a pass to just... dash under it on reaction. Can't really use it to deter zoning either since geegee goes away if Ferry blocks anything so... can't see this as anything but a nerf Twitter combo was sick though!
The U Geegee buff is huge because now you can link 236M from hit on hit and since the M version of the pull is launches high you can even link 214U after for better damage and oki.
I used to say it as a joke during the first GBFVS, but with how shes been treated in Rising, Im pretty sure the developers hate Ferry, they've been slowing subtracting from her kit and giving her odd lateral buffs that just simply do not benefit her kit in any meaningful way.

She had that 2H into Ult spin unblockable in the last patch too. I never had a problem with it before, but I guess there must've been a height where it didnt work well, so the patch made it more consistent.
