I've always hoped that this game would be a horror story. It has all the elements lined up. But it is also goofy enough to be a silly story as well. That's one of the things I like about this game. It can go in a multitude of directions. But you can't just make all those skeletons disappear. I'm hoping they go dark.
I was thinking this as well, pretty messed up if Wendell was kidnapping teens and more even after they died. Just left their skeletons around, too! Another big question was who was spying on Wendell and are they still shrunk in the backyard?
Hmmm... a really good theory, but.... the fifth spot in the case our four player characters arrive in isn't adult sized, it's teenager sized like the other kids. Tully had a son named Thor who loved tabletop games, so what if he's the fifth member? Not sure why he'd be included in the shrinking.... unless Tully felt his son didn't appreciate his real raw science, instead being enamored with his fantasy games. Tully's shrinking experiments caused him to age visibly 20 years in the span of just three years, and no way his son would be able to help him since his own child didn't care about science.
I think they were shrunk by Ominent and they where put in the yard just like Pete, widow, max, and hoops but just failed and was not as advanced, smart and lucky as the 4 playable characters we have now like the one in the pond he or she was not as lucky as we are or the sandbox and so on and I think that 5th spot was for no one they just couldn't kidnap anymore teens or they killed one in the tests they did to us in the lab and that was just the way the box was made because there is way more then 5 skeletons in the game... what do you think

That game states that the shrinking process causes memory loss FYI that's why they don't know where they are or how they got there

Yes. This is a survival horror game. I don't know whether to give the person who did the sound design a metal or a punch to the face.
