just tried this and it worked. i let a wolf spider kill me after and it said "b-b-bones was mauled by a wolf spider". so this is very likely an intended character since they named it.
I believe so too as when i was finding an alternative to this glitch i discovered he’s actually coded in as mr bones but oddly enough it makes feminine grunts haha
I just really hope they give us the opportunity to TAME bugs. A lady bug, a ant to help you carry more grass and wood, Etc... Where you can build saddles depending on your progress from a lady bug to a non OP spider, build stables, also bait, also be able hit bugs with a certain weapon to knock them out while you tame them. Have battles with friends with different bugs. Lol let’s spread the word that would be so cool
That’s actually a pretty good idea, what would also be cool is have some bosses in the game like a small dog or a rat and then your able to fight with your animals.
It would be cool if you could offer ant hills food to show that your friendly and over time as trust is built, allow free entry Into the anthill without danger
i can confirm that it works on xbox. the only issue i had with it was the stuff in my inventory disappeared so i i advise putting your things into a chest before you try it if you dont want to lose them
Yea haha sorry that wasn’t mentioned in the video but you do lose your stuff, you actually can save it all if you put the armor back on too. The game just considers you dead therefor the loot is gone as well
Interwting note: if you venture through the western ant hill, collecting the bee armour pieces, beside each part is the skeleton piece that armour fits, head = Skull etc. The fifth character, actually didnt survive and died, and ended up taken into the ant hill. As ants are known to cut up and pull apart there food.

Anybody having problems with the infinite health glitch on Xbox I’m here to tell you, it work. After you did the glitch to get the skeleton, do it again with the skeleton, until you take no damage and just save it like any normal save, boom there go the Xbox way
how do you get to skeleton? i did it but i have no "load" last save like on pc. did you have to quit the game then host lobby and just upload the same saved game? or does this have to be in single player mode?
@@vytal3877 in order to get the load option you have to be in single player don't worry though you can transfer your world from single-player to multiplayer anytime just by clicking on the single player or multiplayer tab and loading the save

Save. Put on a piece of acorn armor. Get health down very low, then remove the piece of armor. This can actually activate the infinite health glitch, I just never updated this thread. If you save during this and load back in it will take you to the character screen by default, through which you should be able to see Bones standing there. In the character screen press pause (or B I can't remember at the moment) and it will pull up the menu. Make another save. Back out and load that save. It will bypass the character selection screen. I've been a skeleton ever since.

Just a warning for everyone I don’t know if this only happens on Xbox but when I did the skeleton glitch my inventory disappeared and there was no bag to be found
Well actually to be honest it was a mistake, i was playing with my friend and he said his health was low so i decided to beat him up to pick him back up, i was like take off your armor so it doesn’t break and he became invincible. The bones part was kinda simple after that i tried the glitch in singleplayer and i turned invincible again then i saved and loaded to see what would happen, i noticed that i was able to move my camera on the character select screen and just so happened to see a skeleton so i saved and loaded

I like to think that maybe the characters grow back to normal size and the story then continues outside of the garden taking you to other places where you have to grow small again to further progress and find the deeper secret. But Idk just a thought lol
I don't think they will go to normal size just to go small again. I see them staying small. It beats the purpose if they can just go back to normal size and small anytime
Also not to say they can grow small or big at any given moment but to say they can transform once they have reached a certain point of a chapter within the story

I don’t have a character selection screen on any save it automatically loads me in as my last played character. And oak armour or not I still die from the jump. Can’t figure it out.
In my explorations I have found the bones of 5 people, there is actually 2 human ribcages in the cave you are speaking of, the 3 skeletons in the ant hill all have ribcages if I recall correctly, and although size is a bit hard to judge I think they are adult skeletons, presumably the "team" of ominent researchers.

A weird thing is that theres human skeletons in an antnest with the mint caps, that have armour with them so i think petes dad (the scientist) was the 5th slot and that skeletons was him and his science team

Very interesting, only complaint here is that you wrote "unlock" and not "glitch" I have no doubt that it's definitely something in the game that simply isn't available yet, but saying its an unlock is terribly misleading because it take far too much effort to do that repeatedly just to look different. Hopefully it's implemented into am actual character in an update

We’re talking about invisible boxes that define position, orientation, and the volume in which we expect to change vertices. When we move those bones, the vertices we've defined move with it, like how your muscles and skin move with your bones, thus the term. If you render those bones, you get a box man. It's metaphorical. A literal skeleton like this character was created as something for the player to see, not for rigging, nor as an artists’ guide. 2). From how you get it, it looks like a ‘null’ character. Probably used if someone logged out or was disconnected or otherwise the information of which teen it is is lost. You are intentionally ‘losing’ that information by dying-not-dying and saving. Alternatively, the skeletons lying around are actual character models with the 'null' skin, rather than the static meshes skeletons usually are, and it just so happens that 'losing' the teen information results in your skin being set to the same value as the skeletons.

Jade, have you found the Mint Mallot? I have not seen anyone else with one yet. You need a Tier 2 hammer which requires berry leather, then you need to break the mints to build one. The damage is approx 90% and stun is 100%.
He made a video today on how to get it, which made me feel dumb since I did everything to get it but didn't know you get the blueprint without scanning the mint so I stopped trying to craft it XD

This won't work anymore. Even if you could get the health glitch to happen, you wouldn't be able to get the skeleton character due to the way the menus have changed. Singleplayer games completely skip the character select screen upon loading, and multiplayer games don't let you save the game before choosing a character. Not to mention the acorn armour now needs to be upgraded on the smithing station at least 6 times in order to unlock the additional health effect, but even using the upgraded acorn armour did not achieve the infinite health glitch in my testing.
I'm not sure why this isnt talked about but they revealed the voice actors for all five characters and they give the characters name, wendall or wendell lol, along with the voice actors name. This can be found at the steam announcements, or news tab or whatever you want to call it.
Dude I haven't seen anyone make clip of the Bee suit in the ant hole ? There are three bits to collect while exploring the ant hole. Easy to find location as there is bones with a small bag next to them. Bonus for having all three equipped makes you supper fast I can send you some clips of me getting it

This doesn't make sense. How are you loading up and spawning like you just used the lean-to? Whenever I load a save it puts me where I was standing when I saved the game. I also don't get the character choose screen when I am loading up.
Okay, I apparently wasn't getting the infinite health locked in. I got it working. To be clear for other people, get your health down WHILE WEARING the acorn armor piece, and when it is really low, take the piece off while you are falling.
I doubt there is an intentional 5th character at the moment, I think the 5th slot on that case in the spawn area is either the scientist who shrunk us or the person who’s apparently killing humans and using their bones to make shrines around the map

Not sure if you know, but if you have fully equipped Ant armor, Ants wont hurt you.

When loading the game, the character selector does not appear, it only gets me to my game with the character I had.

G- Wolf press start when it’s loading and it should bring up the character select and then you his pause again and save your game and the load up the save game
I did it successfully on xbox and I'm a skeleton, which is super dope... however, I still take damage.
last time i loaded a save in game (xbox) it keep crashing rendering my save useless (i had auto save turned off so i couldent just use another save) but judging from the comments about this on xbox its relatively safe to do
It does work on xbox one the infinite health and the skeleton both work fine it took a few tries but it worked

I play on xbox and I've tried a few times and it doesn't work. Idk if I'm doing it wrong but when I jump off with the helmet am I supposed to take it off before I land or what?
This doesn't make sense. How are you loading up and spawning like you just used the lean-to? Whenever I load a save it puts me where I was standing when I saved the game. I also don't get the character choose screen when I am loading up.
Okay, I apparently wasn't getting the infinite health locked in. I got it working. To be clear for other people, get your health down WHILE WEARING the acorn armor piece, and when it is really low, take the piece off while you are falling.
I don't even know how to switch to 3rd person on console.
settings
Press down on the D-pad then move to the top icon on the wheel. That will toggle first and third person.

I'm pretty sure this is just a placeholder for what down and the Ant tunnels.
It does work for Xbox but if you keep your armor or weapons while you do this you will lose it all
I doubt there is an intentional 5th character at the moment, I think the 5th slot on that case in the spawn area is either the scientist who shrunk us or the person who’s apparently killing humans and using their bones to make shrines around the map

Yes you get your health to the lowest point with your armour on and then take it off
