This is very helpfull for this mount. I would also support the engine with a block of wood on a jack, on the oil pan. I would clean up any area that has rust with rust inhibitor, primer and black paint. Just to sweeten up. Thank you!!
Hey Scott, how are you. this project took about 4 hours it was done in two different locations, and I was trying to record at the same time, the two on the right side went fast, the left side was a little crazy, I had to locate some bolts I couldn't see, and raise and lower the motor to get the bolt out that is coming through wheel well, I also had to use another jack on the left side, to lower and raise to get the bolt back. Thanks for subscribing
Great video, when I go to the parts store they can't find this part in their inventory. Could I possibly get a link to where you got the part? Or do you remember what the part was called? When they look up motor mount in their inventory all that comes up is the right side mounts. Also do you have to remove all the other mounts to do this? Or did you just do that because you were replacing them anyway?
Hey Austin how are you, I got the whole set from ebay, cheap, I was not sure if the parts would fit right but they did. you can replace that one only if that's all you can afford to do now, I had to remove a lot of stuff to get to this mount, I used two jacks to do this job, I had to move from one side to the other until I could get all the parts lose, I was looking for the name of the part all I saw was transmission engine motor mount, I would check the web and or ask a shop if they could tell you the name of it.
I watched your video it was very informative, looking at the mount you have, could you tell me if it is for a standard transmission. I have an automatic and i had purchased on like that from auto zone and it didn't fit. The bolts that mount to the transmission didn't line up.
tony satkow hey tony how are you, it's strange that your part didn't fit if you gave them all the correct info for your car, I ran into a few problems in the pass where I would buy a part and know I gave them all the correct info and the part didn't fit, so I went to another store and the part did fit, some times you may need to take the part with you and make sure they match, my first set of mounts was ordered from e bay that's was scary, but they all fit ok my neon is a standard transmission
Thanks for the reply. Auto zone took the mount back and his reason for giving me the wrong one was because it was the only one they had. I ordered the correct one from rock auto.com for a third of the price. I will be installing it as soon as it gets here, thanks again.

Buy you a Haynes or chiltons manual from an auto parts store for your specific vehicle. Best 30$ you'll ever spend.
