Cole, this is excellent! Love the swirling delay heading into the end of the song. Just curious, are you going to be doing the same type of recording for the drums you did on Oshin with this new release or more of a live recording sound? I feel like the soft sounding drums don't completely do the songs justice as far as the raw energy of how you sound in person. Just my opinion, digg it either way, and can't wait to hear more.
how about people make music about whatever they want. whatever they find most relevant or even the most irrelevant. sometimes the best songs are not about anything. i'd like to think musicians that make music solely because they want to and not for any reason in specific make music that is much more sincere.
oh and i was anxiously awaiting the release of oshin and i bought the hell out of that album because the sound of diiv's music is damn near perfect. they good be singing about practically anything and as long as their music sounds the way it does im gonna buy it. no ultimatums for diiv!

Um hey. It's a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 (or JC-120). Beach Fossils, and many bands like them and DIIV, use those amps too. And for educational purposes, it's a blacktop jaguar, not a jazzmaster :-)
