Kirby games have the best endings and everything is well thought as well. Despite Kirby’s uppity and happy nature the lore is really dark as well. And I feel like the Kirby series delivers the bosses, the pacing, the music, it delivers it so well and it gives you that feeling of accomplishment once you beat the game and get a good ending.
I'm still haunted the first time I heard "And here we are!" from Fecto Soul. The bosses are memorable.
Most of the Kirby villains are not cute and cuddly like King Dedede.
The last 5 Mainline games all had some of the best endings I've ever seen
Return to Dream Land:it turns out Magolor was a traitor all along,you battle him through entire Dimentions,you get to use all the Super Abilities at once,and then you find out the Crown corrupted him and you fight his Hellspawn Form;after that,Kirby and the others actually DO Return to Dream Land,and then you find out Magolor is back and he's good now
Triple Deluxe:Taranza and Sectonia's backstory breaks my Heart,our poor Spider Boi didn't deserve any of what happened;also,I always thought Moonstruck Blossom wasn't meant to be considered a Final Boss Theme,but rather a sad and melancholic cry,given by the fact that you can hear Sectonia's voice in the beginning
Planet Robobot's ending was pretty sad as well,and VERY,VERY gruesome:finding out Star Dream completely consumed Haltmann's Soul,and he would've basically won if it wasn't for that literal 0,01% chance,knowing Max and Susie are unfortunately doomed to be apart,and many other aspects that just make me unsettled and sad at the same time
Star Allies has the happiest ending:every Villain returns,basically redeemed,all your Friends come here to help you,and even Void has somehow a Happy ending!
And lastly,Forgotten Land's endings are just pure epicness! You're basically running over Discount Kars/Shadow/whatever,then you save Leon,finally fight Morpho Knight CANONICALLY,Chaos Elfilis joins again with Elfilin,but this time for good,and the Beasts can live Happy with all of the other Characters
Even with that Robobot ending, i still loved the heck out of that game

Kirby has some insane bosses and endings, not to mention that the final bosses in Kirby games have like 3 phases each better than the last
Bro in all the kirby games I played the game threw alot of bosses toward the end amazing mirror had dark meta knight and all of dark minds like 5 forms and an eye one and a top down shooter.star allies had zan whatever it was hyness void termina and then the soul after that a whole mashing part and finnaly forgotten land had forgo dedede leongar fecto forgo and finnaly chaos elflilis
Except for Dark Nebula and 02. 02 sort of gets a pass for how atmospheric the fight is, but Dark Nebula's finale is just kind of lame.
Well Star Dream OS has like 5 first normal Stardrean OS, then Planet Star dream OS, Then Galactic Nova Star Dream OS, then That form where you Destroy those cores inside Star Dream and the Final Form is the Heart which is Basically Dark Souls level
I also loved how you started off with Flowers and Sunny skies and then YOU FUSE WITH HALBERD AND DRILL THROUGH A SENTIENT PLANET
Oh yeah, I just beat Planet Robobot again recently. Still the peak of modern 2d Kirby in my opinion
Kirby climax’s are usually the coolest thing in the games! Kumazaki said that he grew up playing Kirby, and having a crazy hyped reaction to Nightmare just like many kids did have as well at the time. That could mean that the next Kumazaki could be growing up with Kirby right now! Isn’t that just cool to think about?

For sure, Kirby games have perfected the art of final bosses. The stakes, the designs, the music, multiple phases. Hal does it all, man. Other games certainly should take note. I'll say, though maybe not visually or conceptually as crazy as Kirby, Metroid Dread's final boss really gave an outstanding final challenge that made for one of the most perfect finales from Nintendo in a long time.
The ending felt like Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks movies. A heartfelt ending. No game has ever made me feel like this before. ALSO THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER AND THE VERY 1ST GAME I 100%

Yeah both 2D and 3D Mario games should definitely learn from the Kirby series, not only when it comes to ending but also maybe boss fights as well.
In terms of mainline games, yeah sure. But the spin offs have the final bosses covered.
Kirby's whole gist is literally "Oh, my day is ruined, time to dethrone a god!"
No, that's just his weekly schedule, he kills God's every Tuesday or so.
Even I have to admit that despite its easy gameplay Kirby games tend to surprise you over how the game ends.
And also the Arena in Some games like Planet Robobot and Star allies where its Basically Dark Souls

I was laughing all night, and yet somehow, didn't wake up my sleeping family as I watched this video 10 times over until 2:08AM, and then again this morning, twice, around 7:01 and 10:17! This should be the way that all your videos are made: with Nickelodeon-esque, sound-effect- and voice-impression-based, family-friendly comedy at the forefront, and not left as a reserve sitting on the back burner!

If there's one thing I complain about Kirby games, is that the true main villain is more or less only showcased near the end of the games.
True its predictable in the way that you know that the first main villain is fake!
Finale of Forgotten Land is basically, you fight Zootopia’s Lionheart who was possessed by creepy big headed Giygas who then turns into John Carpenter’s The Thing and finally Jakelope Sephiroth.

I think why a lot of people don't get why it's so good because they only play the start. It is really the end of the games where things get real and a lot of people miss that.

Ikr? Some of the endings are good, while some are really cursed, terrifying, or straight up, not kid friendly-looking, because a lot of the final bosses are possessed by something evil or unknown.
Some of them are really freaky, I personally think zero is one of the most horrific to me.

Its Mostly Zero who Posses who is also a Part of Void Termina who has something to do with the Aincents which were hinted at by Magolor who maybe himself is a descendent of them
No other Game Franchise has ever dared to aquire massive Popularity based upon the benchmark of how much it *Sucked...*
...except maybe _Blinx the Time Sweeper,_ but we know what happened there...
On a more serious note, the whole _Kirby_ Franchise is built upon the theme of *Simplicity* - from the Main Character's mentality, to the games' Control Engine, to the beginning Premise of each game.
The key to it is the way it builds up the Complexity not through its Difficulty of the enemy, but by the Scale of Progression: The base Story begins fairly easily, only ever getting Moderately Challenging at most; then near the End, when the story Twist occurs, the ability of the opposition gets ramped up, doing more Damage and giving you less time to React - requiring you to adapt to the changes and Up your Game; and then in the Post-Game is where the Dial can go up to 11 - increasing the Challenge via increasing the number of enemies, stronger Alternate Forms of Bosses, and reducing your chances to Heal; Culminating into the True Final Boss that is designed to be the Ultimate Test of your Mastery over the game's controls and mechanics!
This has been a tried and true formula of HAL's, evolving over the Years and coming close to perfection in the most recent games - and _The Forgotten Land_ successfully brings that formula to a _whole new Dimension_ of Gameplay and Storytelling!
The Darker turns in Lore are simply a method to inform the Player when things become more difficult - the higher the Stakes, the higher the Scale of Control Mastery you'll need to face it! It's a system that seamlessly and naturally blends the Difficulty Scaling into the Storytelling, and shows that the further you delve into the Simplicity of the games, the ever more Complex the inner nuances of them is capable of becoming...
When i read "Scale of Control Mastery" in my head it sounded like a Stat in an RPG, it came to me like a "Recommended Level: 17" or something similar
If they had the balls to do an Earthbound remake, I feel like we'd get a similar feel.
It's good to hear more attention brought to Kirby finales as a whole. I heard a few people shocked at how wild Forgotten Land's finale got, and I'm really glad it's making an impression on those who aren't super familiar with the series. But it's even more fun when those people realize that's been par for the course for a long time with Kirby.

Also, kinda unrelated, but Forgotten Land is definitely my favorite Kirby game, period.
Because it also has the most fun Gameplay with the Dodge Roll and Dodge Counter plus that you can upgrade you Abillitys.

I can’t get enough of how, despite so much of this darkness seeming like it comes out of nowhere, none of it really feels out of place for the Kirby universe.
The ending of mario odyssey was such a fun time. Tied with kirby and the forgotten land for the best video game ending.

I'm picturing all the kirby final bosses in a room telling how they died then is Fecto Elfilis turn and it just says "i got run over by a semitruck..."
Everyone looks confused and then he add "piloted by kirby..."

P.s. many people say kriby always had lovecraftian final bosses, which is true but to me fecto forgo felt like a resident evil boss fight
Meanwhile Zero is like, "i got destroyed by a stick." (confusion) "...that Kirby was holding." (everyone proceeds to nod in unison)
I have played Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Kirby’s Return to DreamLand, and Kirby’s Adventure before, but the only Kirby games that I actually own are Epic Yarn 3DS, Star Allies, and Forgotten Land.
Kirby games are perfect examples of "games for all ages" The lore doesn't need to be open for kids and the hard parts of the games are optional arenas
But best of all, the endings are just beautifully done.
Also I adore the "through the tunnel" theme
The eye being bad at making friends is only the swordsman, otherwise dark matter and zero are creatures of pure negative emotion and energy made by zero fro dark matter and made by the concept of chaos for zero
that’s mot the ending in kirby and the forgotten land… after that leongar gets lost in his dreams and you need to get pieces of his soul to save him
Although I will admit that Kirby does it the best, I think Zelda does a really good job with final bosses as well. I even thought the ending to Mario Odyssey was really good!

I have very similar feelings about the ending to Bowser’s Inside Story: halfway through the game Fawful steals the Dark Star, an ancient evil thingy, and using it’s power barricades himself in his newly conquered Peach’s castle.
Later in the game you’re able to get past the barricade and the endgame is pretty meaty, containing six bosses:
Junker, a trash robot
Blizzard Midbus, Fawful’s lackey given new ice powers
Dark Star, at half power due to Fawful draining it’s power
Super Peach’s Castle of Fury, Peach’s castle transformed into a giant robot with a black hole cannon by Fawful
Dark Fawful, Fawful’s new form capable of taking on Bowser after absorbing half of the Dark Star’s power
Dark Bowser & Dark Fawful, a two part fight between Bowser and the Dark Star at full power with his DNA and the Mario Bros. versus Fawful’s new giant bug form fused with the Dark Star’s core. During this final fight the kingdom is being destroyed by a dark hurricane and Peach’s castle is in shambles after the fight with it.
I really like this finale for so many reasons. One thing I think it has over the Kirby finales imo is that the Kirby finales are a little bit random while this is more built up throughout the game, still love em tho.
DKC Tropical Freeze may not have multiple bosses at the end, but I think it makes up for that with how challenging Lord Frederick is. I can admit it could've built him up more though.

yin-yarn is by far the weakest kirby final boss (besides king ddd) and he literally ripped a planet into _pizza slices_ and turned another planet completely into *yarn* and then turned the strings holding the first planet into sentient living beings
Not to mention they didn't think their plan through completely, but to be honest I thought that dark nebula was the most lackluster final boss.

Yin yarn : the final boss didn't know what to do after turn dreamland into yarn

To be fair, Yin-Yarn was the only final boss to succeed in taking over Dream Land, he just had no idea wat to do with the world.
Maybe he could've made pizza with that planet too?
I can see what you mean, but there are definitely still really good final bosses by Nintendo. Take king boo from luigi's mansion 3, or Raven Beak from Metroid Dread. These are really good final bosses.

I think Planet Robobot did it pretty well. First Mecha Knight+, Then President Haltmann, And finally all of Star Dream's 3 phases! Also with Gurran laggan put into the final blow
Yeah this is why I love Kirby out of all Nintendo games, it's "casual casual casual THE LORE OF GODS and oh look the game's done!"
To your point with Mario it usually doesn't world build a single thing and it's surviving to hit a button usually. Galaxy and Odyssey being exceptions. While Sonic is not a Nintendo game it also usually follows a formula of "get magic macguffins to ram into super mech really hard. Does this get referenced again? Usually never."
But Kirby offers a strange consistency, both in the individual story and the overarching canon the games are creating.
The dark forces are connected to each other.
The weapons and tech all came from somewhere.
Someone.
And each time Kirby is the one to wield the power to stop it. It's amazing

I think Nintendo are trying in some sort of way to give that Kirby oomph from final bosses to other games. Pokémon legends arceus is an example (I mean, not the best example but still one, also spoilers for the end, it’s been month tho you should know.). You literally fight 8 Pokémon, no healing, two of which are the phases of an OP god back to back. It was epic

Tip for morphs knight battle:get space ranger and a boost (damage boost)
When he teleports near do the move where he shoots the energy sphere and then when he’s not moving charge it up
Same could be said for Fecto/chaos elfilin
Or have honor and fight him with a sword, i suggest the Meta Knight sword cuz then its a knight fight (once again, honor) and bust some sense into him like Meta Knight did with Galacta Knight
Morpho Knight was almost as disappointing here as in Star Allies. And they fixed even that in Star Allies with its EX form.
At the Nope there's this and this I felt that Cinema Sins and Cinemare Sins/LittleShyFim Would have a field day with this... *And the new Sonic Movies...*

I’m surprised he didn’t bring up, the three mage sisters, because of their dark past, and the fact that Parallel Krako, was made by The tears and bloody mist of his enemies.
My favorite summary of Kirby plots is the following:
"The plot of this game is that Kirby has to fly to the center of the universe to kill god, because god ruined his picnic."
He has saved the his world 273 times now & his whole galaxy twice
the FIRST dark matter is the one who wanted friends. i dunno but i think that one ended up being gooey. the rest of the dark matters are pure negative energy.
The game with the first Dark Matter is also the game with Gooey's first appearance. They both appear in Kirby's Dream Land 2.
