Just binge watched all your Lady Brompton videos, now feeling really cheery. Wonderful style. Subscribed hoping for more entertainment and inspiration.
Thanks DT for binge watching! Really made my day to hear your enjoyed them 🤗 thanks for the sub! I am currently unable to cycle but I will get back to adventures soon I promise! 🙏😎🌅
@Lady_Brompton in the same boat at DT! your videos are hilarious and creative (and tickle my sad obsession with bromptons) Will we be seeing you back on the big screen anytime soon?
My Brompton (sorry, no name yet) and me stumbled upon your channel, and we immediately fell in love with your entertaining, individual and humorous videos. As we catch ourself in the act watching all your videos, unable to get rid of the smile in our face/joint, we would like to thank you that you take us with you and we are looking forward to what will come next from you and Lady Brompton. ;-)
Oh thanks so much for this lovely comment! Made my day :) Glad you and your Brompton binged the channel and happy to hear it brought smiles to both your faces/ joints 😆 I'll upload another adventure soon, just have to find the time... Thanks again 🙏🤗
Sheesh. I thought I had everything I could ever need for camping. Turns out that I don’t. The thing is, I now have so much lightweight gear that I need someone to follow me in a big van. Keep the videos and recommendations coming. They’re the best thing on RUclips. I’ll just need to find a way to deal with my GAS or find a pal with a van.
A big van! 😂😂 I know what you mean though, must get addictive especially with all the ultralight stuff out there. But I ain't paying 150€ for a helinox zero camping chair to save a few grams 😅 Hope you get out on a trip soon Jim! 😊
Hi, I often come here hoping to see a new video, but today I happened to see one of your replies, explaining. Huge congratulations Sophie!!! and girls are the best( in my opinion of course) Wonderful! Your videos always cheer me up, if I am having a not quite so good day. The intro on Fr Ep2 makes me laugh every time. You also often inspire me to get my Brompton out and go for a nice ride. Enjoy your bundle of joy and hope to see you back here when you are ready. Take care! x Kevin. 0 9 9
Well isn't that just the loveliest message ever. I'm so glad I cheer you up! Trust me you cheered up this mammy who just managed to get the little newborn to bed 😮💨 Just as much as I inspire you, it's fans like yourself that inspire me to get back on the bike too. All in good time, thanks again for the cheer me up 🤗 🙏❤️
Found your Brompton videos by accident and you almost immediately became my favourite RUclipsr! So I subscribed, only to discover that you seem to have stopped. Boo! More, more, more, please! Seriously, hope all is well with your world.
Thanks for the sub gold straw! Much appreciated 🙏 I had a baby in the meantime but I do plan to be back cycling soon - just need to invest in a brompton trailer for the baba 🐣
Welcome back! Not that you've been anywhere. Well other than camping of course. Would love to see more vids from you. I like them short cos I'm getting old and don't have several additional hours to be wasting on You Tube. Bite Size ones are super, just not mosquito bites. Can I borrow that bite away pen?
Thanks Sporadi🙏 More videos on the way and I'll be sure to keep them nice and short so that you don't waste time on youtube 🤣 In the description you'll find a link to bite away - treat yourself to a mozzy pen, you deserve it! ✨🙏
I’ve missed your humour , hopefully we have more videos coming our way, thought that light was very good, may one ask where would one purchase such an item , until the next time sweet soul , take care and safe riding.
How are ya Kavan! Yeah all the details are in the description with links to the products 🥸 It's a fantastic light! I use it sometimes at home even when I'm not camping 🤣 Glad you enjoyed ✨
@@Lady_Brompton Always good thanks my Irish Beauty , each morning when we wake we have two choices = happy not happy, I tend to choose wisely, hope your next video is not far away, rarely have I met someone who makes my soul smile. Maybe the half in me which is Irish is the humour half , until the next smile let’s hope it’s not wind. Take care.
@@Lady_Brompton You must of been told by others that your humour is really funny , Father Ted as an example is a comparison, An intelligent soul you are one thinks , As you’ve said even the postman is funny, I think the term is the Irish like the crack , the mind boggles, are you a writer or stand up comedian? Sorry I’m taking too much of your time , but only a little sorry.
Hi Lady Brompton, glad to hear from you again here, it's been a while and i thought that maybe you got into some other activities and leave us here without your funny, informative , and sometimes heartbreaking video's of your adventures. I guess that these several items will be very usefull if you travel on a bike tour, most important thing i took from it is the bag of wine, that will come in handy always. Slainte!😇
Thanks Theo! Yes we could all do with a big bag of wine in our lives 🤣 I've been busy with life but I do have another trip which I will share soon so stay tuned! Hope all is well and that you are getting out for some cycling trips too! 🚲💪🌱
Some tried and tested comforts and delights in there! Plenty I haven’t seen - nice to see what makes your trips even more enjoyable for you!! Happy cycling and camping 🎉😎
As always Lady Brompton, such a welcome, entertaining and informative piece of work. And your choice of music does not go unnoticed either -- it always compliments your videos so well. Found the silk sleeping bag of particular interest, as I often struggle to get the temperature just right on my various jaunts. Sending very best wishes from the North of England, and thank you so much for the high standard of content you consistently produce, Richard.
Awwww thanks for your lovely comment Richard! I always enjoy reading your comments. And yes the silk sleeping bag is perfect for you in that case! Warm in the winter and cool in the summer :) And the bonus of course is that it's super light. Wishing you lots of merry jaunts in the north of England 🌱🏕️
Hahaha well what takes 9 months? I just gave birth to a little girl so it will take some time before another video comes 😅 but I promise I'll make more for you Guido 😊❤
@@Lady_Brompton Hi, thank you very much for your reply. Wow. Congratulations. Well, there is no problem. I will continue to wait as long as necessary until you can upload a new video. I wish you the best of luck, and a thousand blessings for your baby.
Great list, and a few items I have never seen! I also bring a chair and a wine flask with me on every bike trip. That water bucket is a good idea. Thanks for the great tips and the hilarity. Make us some more videos!
Hi Deldewar, haha it's safe! I've used it for years but yes it does burn but never actually damages your skin. Trust me the relief is instant and the mozzie bite disappears without the itchy swelling. The short zap of heat certainly takes your mind off it 🤣
She's perfect the way she is Alex. The only thing I'll update is maybe a mirror, a better kickstand and someday perhaps a Brooks saddle but I feel bad to change her when she's already perfect 🥹 I could do a video on the bags and all that shite.
@@wayneriley7557 I'll add it to the list! I can make a quick one for you. The reason I choose the backpack on the rear is so that you are free to move around (watch lady brompton secret trick ~ Tour set up). You attach the bag to the saddle and it's nice and sturdy on the rear rack with the straps that are included on the rear rack 👍😎
One benefit of this backpack setup (as compared to side pannier setup) is how it keeps all the weight centralized, and keeps your profile narrow. I find it much easier to pack my brompton, attached as you have it with a backpack on back, than to balance the load between side panniers on my full sized bike. And it’s surprisingly stable, even fully loaded. Also, the bag on front that attaches to the frame is better than bags that attach to handlebars or front fork. The Brompton still feels easy and nimble to steer, even when fully loaded
Exactly what Amy said! Glad we are both twinsies in the touring set-up! It's really sturdy and makes for a smooth cycle. I also like being mobile and having the front bag as a shoulder bag, the backpack on my back and then carrying my foldable Lady Brompton...with panniers it wouldn't be possible to fold anymore. Defeats the purpose of going touring on a foldie!
