NOT the case at all! WHAT REALLY HAPPENED was shaka was looking through the white mans personal belongings and found the bible book amoung them. The white man is NOT preaching the bible here. He is merely explaining upon being questioned by the great shaka. Sadly the clip uploaded and the title doesn't reveal the full part in its entirety that puts this into context. either episode 6 or 8 has the full context. Also a side note these whites were basically held hostage there and all had to answer up to king shaka. That is why they speak so carefully and hesitantly to him in the clip.

@@MrTC-cp2gv Shaka Zulu, it's more of a mini series than a movie. 10 episodes, 50 minutes each if I remember correctly. You can buy the DVD on Amazon, which I would highly recommend, it really is awesome. Just make sure you don't buy some cut version or something.

The movie could’ve went on they didn’t show the British invasion. The British failed at least twice with thousands of casualties before they took over the Zulu nation. The zulus changed the way war was fought from that point on. At the end of the day it was Bullets versus spears. Cannons versus rocks. And they still took out thousands before they were defeated.

My mother asked if I would watch this as a child. I was too young to process what I was consuming. Years later although more experienced, I have only learned that having an open mind as to anything isnt helpful with a tongue that doesn't align with the agenda. That is a death sentence. Perspective through experience is not a silent walk.

After recently watching the whole shaka zulu tv series in its entirety i have come back to say that THIS is misleading and ENTIRELY OUT OF CONTEXT. Very misrepresented. people commenting seem to think that the white man was trying to brainwash the zulus by forcing religion down their throat and bringing christianity to their land. NOT the case at all! WHAT REALLY HAPPENED was shaka was looking through the white mans personal belongings and found the bible book amoung them. The white man is NOT preaching the bible here. He is merely explaining upon being questioned by the great shaka. Sadly the clip uploaded and the title doesn't reveal the full part in its entirety that puts this into context. either episode 6 or 8 has the full context. Also a side note these whites were basically held hostage there and all had to answer up to king shaka. That is why they speak so carefully and hesitantly to him in the clip.
