The chemistry between Nola, Bea and Ferguson really made this a fantastic era for PCBH.
100%
What makes Nola McKenzie so fierce is the fact that she's got nothing to lose.....
True.
And she is not intimidated by Bea in the slightest! lol. The way she violently kicks Bea in the guts and then goes and sits right next to her for dinner after being told the seat is taken. And later in the rec room, she leaves Bea with a chilling message and walks out. So absolutely badass... lol. And you know Bea is intimidated by her after she described her ruthless murders to the women in the laundry!
just a death sentence in W.A which she's quiet happy 2 lose it lol
But bea thumps her few times after this
Why are all the residents at Driscoll House zombie like drongos?
It makes no sense that Judy doesn't mention that her sister came at her with a vase ... which of course Judy would have to defend herself from...
That is a good piont
Maybe she forgot.
Judy slapped her sister first. But that’s what the greed cow deserves for lying and trying rip off Jude.
The bashing of Nola was hilarious 😂
The Nola bashing was fantastic! 😂😂😂😂
Very realistic
Carole Skinner was perfect as Nola McKenzie. She looked and played the part of a sociopathic old con brilliantly.
nola is a psychopath as is ferguson vs sociopaths who can hide in plain sight
Sandy Joan is even more of a psychopath in the Wentworth series, which is currently airing to this day.
A cold blooded killer is one of the things that Joan can add to her list of bad personality traits and crimes.
The old Joan just wouldn't exactly do that in Prisoner, but the new Joan would sadly.
I think the old Joan in Prisoner is a sociopath/psychopath combination. Haha. 😄😉
Nola is definitely a sociopath. Both sociopath/Psychopath terms are thrown around too easily. There's no way Joan is a psychopath , she just has a pathological hatred for prisoners after her girlfriend was murdered by one, just like Smith has for drug pushers or victims/parents (and most of us) might have for paedo's. She shows empathy for kids and prisoners who are disabled or different and has a soft spot for abo's by breaking the rules to give Sarah a photo of her parents while she was in solitary. Psycho's are not capable of the real love she shows her father and Shane, they are born with no empathy or sympathy for others, and mimic their way through life never making true connections and some just see people as objects to be used eg. Kate Peterson. Not all are evil or criminal, just incapable of forming true attachments. The non criminal ones make good surgeons or soldiers as emotions don't cloud their judgement.
They reckon sociopaths are made (social circumstances)
depending on their childhood, how they're treated etc. Obviously not everyone who had a shit childhood become bad people or sociopathic, it depends on their genetic disposition and how badly they were treated/abused. They are still capable of showing some of the empathy they were born with but it is buried pretty deep. As criminals they tend to be more brazen and careless as they still have the basic emotions they were born with.
@@65minimom the only difference between nola & the freak was the side of the bar they were on. They were almost as evil as each other; I'm not sure whether Nola would have the same liking for animals, kids or old people.
I don't think Nola is a sociopath or a psychopath. She's simply a strong, powerful woman who knows what she wants and is at the stage in her life where she'll do anything to get it. I love how assertive and forceful she is. And she has the perfect looks for it - the bone structure in her face makes her look like some kind of Amazonian warrior woman! Both the actress and the character are very impressive. Also I love her accent. She's a perfect replacement for Marie Winter!
I really wish Davidson would stop talking about other prisions being low security. I clearly remember them braking out of Wentworth with an old mat & a ladder.
Seems strange that a 'low security' prison like Barnehurst would house the likes of Marie Winter too.
ashley chaney don’t forgot Judy escaped from the tunnel underground
Wentworth is supposed to be high security and Barnhurst is low security but that doesn’t mean people don’t escape
Breaking...
Not to mention how easy it was for Lizzie to get into the staff room and fix the points book. Same as she's gotten into the staff room countless times before.
This is my very first time watching through all episodes of PCBH after having been a fan of Wentworth for years. As an American, I’m in love with all things Australian anyway, but these 2 shows - though related - are my favorites. I honestly never expected that PCBH would be so addictive.
Sadly they've just removed about 50% of the episodes from RUclips. I'd already watched all the episodes twice.
Cor- I am *really* enjoying Prisoner now- the writers have really upped the ante at this point!! Every episode since the fires have been getting better and better. I'm lovin' The Freak and the sinister Nola! They are brilliant bad guys. Very entertaining. The actors play their evil parts very well. Just hope I don't have nightmares tonight... :0
After 340 episodes, Erica still asks, " Who did this to you?" Expecting an answer. Hahaha! Aussies. Gotta love 'em.
+pamela brooks. If the culprit was standing next to her with the bloody knife in hand holding a sign with the words "I did it", she still wouldn't have a scooby.
For someone who doesn't want to end up back inside, Jude sure spends A LOT of time at Wentworth.
Well she does end up going bac as an inmate
Well, besides Judy recently getting a job at Wentworth, she is a former inmate who cares about the women as does Meg Morris, who is an officer. 😃
It's part of her Job
Obviously,it’s part of her job
Lizzies 3 loves in life are babies, booze and doctors lol
Not once has Jude mentioned the vase her sister smashed into face, which after all was the first blow?????
I was thinking the same damn thing.. Maybe it could've ended before it started.. Love Jude but she make all the wrong choices
Maybe because it didn't smash into her face like you stated?????
Jude is too dam good.
that vase was worth 100 thousand dollars if only Judys sister had known
This is one of my pet peeves in Prisoner, when characters get into trouble because they fail to mention the most basic details which would clear them.
Glad Mrs M decided not to resign, place wouldn't be the same without her !
Alan Mclay she is the only staff to stay til the very end of the show
Alan Mclay I wish meg was drowned instead of paddy.
Oh she was always threatening it lol
I always have liked Meg.
I’m glad Meg stayed as well. 😃
Wonder how many times Mrs Davison has used the words very well in every episode she has been in
It's Davidson not Davison.
Love the way bea steams in the dining room grabs a plate of tucker snatches a few extra chips and waltzes back to her table
Classy real classy
Why would they put Fay in the same cell with the woman who just killed Paddy for kicks?
Yeah, Faye's a nice lady, I like her. She's very pretty too considering those women have very minimal makeup on.
@@josephd.2725 Have you seen Y&R lately? Chelsea suffered an aneurysm and a stroke. She can't speak and the woman isn't wearing makeup. She looks terrible without it. It reminds me of the women on here.
@@sheriheffner2098 I haven't seen Y&R for a long time, I mostly used to check out its sister soap, B&B, but that was years ago too. I like Prisoner for its raw women, minimal makeup and prison uniforms. You can really see who is actually beautiful this way... lol
You would think they would put Nola in a single cell considering the animosity between her and the others.
@@karennicholls2296 Realistically they wouldn't keep you in the same prison that you killed someone in
I feel cheated that we didn't get to see Trixie get bashed
Nola was by far Bea’s greatest enemy
Freak aside that is.
Joan would beat nola
Nola reminds me of a bulldog chewing a wasp.
Nola was tough, had a sense of humor, and gave everyone a run for thier money!
+Addicted2PCBH She had some great lines.
I like Nola. She reminds me of Marie Winter. I can't wait for her return either.
that line is ancient...
Serena Allen , Nola has a head like a chewed toffee.
Maxine lagging in the laundry but because it's Beas friend nothing is done
Yeah lagging rules are very inconsisitent
Even if Meg had searched that lawyer, who is to say they weren't HIS ciggies rather than contraband.
Yes, I know what you mean. However, anything like that on his possession would have needed to be left at the reception during his visit, and collected on his way out. At least I believe that's how it's supposed to work. But Wentworth is so dysfunctional half the time lol
lol that was the worst fight scene. When Nola gets a kicking at 34:57 Maxine was just doing some weird knee jerks while the woman opposite was stamping the floor. The other two looked like they were kneading dough to make bread.
Jacko is hitting Nola's bum like she's playing drums.
Watching Prisoner: Cell Block H is soothing my lingering Wentworth withdrawals. Thank you for posting these! 🇨🇦
Hahah 🤣🤣🤣 same here.. I was like ' what am I gonna watch now ' lol
Did you know that the lady playing Ferguson was arrested for child molestation of a mental challenged 14 yr old
@Mike-Kelly Dutkiewicz she was cleared of that.
The last time I saw Nola she was staring in a movie where she was tied to the bed having been possessed by the devil and shouting obscenities at a priest whose mother was in hell
Nola has the face of ''CHUCKIE'' that doll after he was cut up.
"Meg I need you and so does ummm Wentworth" sounds like Patsy almost forgot her lines lol
Erica stumbles over her words all the time
To Liam / PrisonerCellBlockH95 uploader , Thank you so much for all your awesome work uploading the full series.
big judes blue lumberjack shirt must be stinking ,she wears it every episode.
Al R she’s got seven of them
in her wardrobe, one for each day of the week... lol
She should have at least taken a shower, put on a bit of makeup and fixed her hair and put on a nice dress. Look feminine just for court.
Bryant looks bigger than ever in that lumberjack shirt she’s wearing in this episode. A few sizes bigger would be a start, even if she wants the butch look
Ahhhhhh, can anyone really blame Nola for what she did? After all, think it over, her OWN LIFE was threatened - she was going to be executed, so she did have a motive of SELF PRESERVATION. And PADDY did, in effect, put HER life in danger by "lagging" on her - "put a noose around" her neck as she put it. Like she also said in this episode, anyone else would probably do the same!
Viva!
Nola is just selfish and cold blooded and deserves to be in prison. As for hanging or executing a prisoner I don't belive in the death penalty.
Standing up for Nola ??????
Psychopathic and delusional
Po Face always wants a 'Word' ha
I think at this point we're all hoping that Judys boring daughter Laurie doesn't return
Already hung the decorations 😝
We're now in the "Classic Prisoner" imperial phase of the show. The 1982 season is just fantastic, so many twists and shocks.
Erica is intelligent, educated and elegant. But every time she claims that Wentworth is a high security jail, it is highly amusing.
Erica's always got her coat on in the office, she won't get the benefit of it when she goes outside
She looks so classy tho 😍
It's not too bad, when you've gotten a car to step in too.
Seriously, Judy should've just taken the Father's money and ran. Instead of setting up another halfway house which led to the Hazel drama, which led to her going back to Wentworth.
She could've bought a house not far from the city for about $40,000 in those days.
Judys an idiot
Thank you so much for adding this episodes!!
I love how meg doesn't want the mail read nor the visitors searched. It would be like working in a prison. Good grief.
22:30 "Already hung the decorations" LMFAO
Yeah, The Freak is legendary, the way she says things.. so sarcastic and brutal lol
@@josephd.2725 Joan has a wicked sense of humor I enjoy her character.
@@sadiestoltzfus9798 She's a legend! So salty.. hehe
Maxine looks like a cross between Peter Pan and Noddy in Toyland! ;_-D
Carole Skinner who plays Nola was in Catching Milat last year.
I think I saw that years ago. She was the mother if I remember correctly.
Maxine lagging in the laundry
Maggie Kirkpatrick and Carole Skinner are very good friends in real life, and this is reflected in the chemistry they have on-screen as Nola and Joan.
Stooges kicking Nola's butt lmao
Yes it was funny. 🤣🤣
It is such a shame how tough Judy used to be and what a total wuss the writers made her in the Myra era.
It is said that beauty is skin deep. If so, then Nola was born inside out !
Yeah lol. She has a face like a bag of spanners.
....NOLA looks ABORIGINAL...that's all....
rose webb Nora Flynn looks more aboriginal
david Felix such vile talk!!!
Some of the best dramas - and comedies too - are about situations in which people are trapped together. I disappear into this Wentworth rabbit hole, where there is a family of familar faces who never grow old, not even Lizzie.
There is a prank game around called "Scary Maze Game", & while players stare at the screen trying to figure it out, suddenly & without warning a picture of Linda Blair at her Exorcist worst fills the screen, along with a blood-curdling loud scream. There are videos of people falling for this, & they scream in terror, fall off their chairs, & generally freak out in horror. There could be another version with a picture of Nola, & it would have the same effect
Kaluthrica ... ty.... that sounds like fun to post in my horror group :D xxx
Nola is truly disturbing, reminds me of Trog in the eponymous movie.
All Nola needs is to throw up Pea Soup and she'd pass for the girl in the Exorcist :D
34:37 Trixi kicking the shit out of the floor,
I'm glad Judy got another chance. Common sense doesn't always prevail with the parole board, so it was a pleasant change to see it this time. Erica's positive input was probably what swung it in her favour though. Nola put up a decent effort to fend of her attackers considering the odds were stacked so much against her. Her boot in the belly to Bea shows that she can handle herself and she certainly doesn't scare easily. Bea may have some difficulty remaining on top if Nola hangs around long.
That Nola is a tough one! She does become top dog so JH JH told me, until of course Bea shoots her. Lol.
Carlene Boulden true. Bea makes a startling recovery 😗
JH JH that is soap land for yuh lol
Carlene Boulden Wish Rita Connors had met Bea 😙
JH JH Rita the beater Connors, oh yeah. I am yet to see her but I've heard about her. Some even prefer her as a top dog to the Beaster.
Lizzie at 8:34 " Don't come the raw prawn jude " lol . more like a beached whale! :D
Maxine looks like Peppermint Patty with that haircut. Sounds like her too.
I see Quinn is back. There's a face we all missed
Peppermint patty, lol. :D
+SchlargNoise All she needs is a green striped shirt, a pair of shorts and some sandals Maybe Shirley could be her Marcie, calling her sir, the one with the glasses and bring in a Beagle and it would be complete, she thinks Snoopy is a funny looking child.
SchlargNoise lol good one
SchlargNoise. I like Faye.
Lol
Joan is so sadistic
While we might laugh at some storylines, or the multiple roles, one thing we really can admire is the special effects makeup. It was extremely well done.
Your joking? Right?
You blind or forgot your glasses? No wY that’s even mediocre let alone good 😂
Does every Driscoll House inhabitant roll their own?
At 24:26 Maxine lags on Nola for kicking Bea in the stomach and no-one bats an eyelid.
I'm glad Judy got off. But I would have loved to see France's persist with her case and end up inside for her fraud. The women wouldn't have given her an easy time.
It would have been absolutely brilliant if she had been put in Wentworth, because she would have got a severe bashing from the women every day for what she said and did to Judy.
@@Summer21. And probably would have teamed up with The Freak o mayb not seeing as Fran hates lesso's
Judy: "They say I am showing violent tendencies". - surely not: 18:53
love Nola's lawyer's hair, like Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber..
The lawyer looks a lot like Meg's son Marty.
33:57 Silly Nola. All she had to do was start throwing punches as soon as the first two women stepped out in front of her and the threat would have been dissipated.
Nola should have been sent to Blackmore
I agree. I dont think Blackmoor was ever mentioned until later in the series when Reb Kean drugged the officers at some day out so she could escape, and then Phyllis Hunt kidnapped the child, and Judy and Cass went after her to make sure she didnt do anything to the kid. They described Blackmoor as a new maximum security prison.
I don't believe Blackmoor existed at this stage.
You mean Woodridge! Hell, some of those men would be terrified of that woman! 🤣
@@josephd.2725 nope there is blackmoor prison but perhaps as previously suggested not yet referred to or established
@@davymania700 I remember Blackmoor from watching it 30 years ago. I guess Blackmoor was the more dangerous one then.. lol
she kicked Bea in the foof!!!
Nola after she was bashed looks like Quasimodo !
Nola kicked Bea right in the minge.
I thought Erica saw Fran hit Jude in the head with the vase. I also looked up the woman that played Fran, she was also a writer for this program too. They'll see Nola and you'll get that television in 1999. Again I say they need to put cameras in the cells so Erica or the screws can see what those women do.
Yes that's true
Fran with her dodgy American accent.
I hope justice Sandy Edwards comes back for the trial of Nola McKenzie 😂
35:00 Fight scene LMAO. But then Bea saying "You'll Keep." Priceless Bea! 42:20 The Freak's little speech to Po Face was well acted. Nola and Bea showdown coming soon it appears
25:43 anyone else get Ben Grimm vibes from Fantastic 4 ? "It's clobbering time!" 🤣
That Nola gives me the creeps!
Nola is odd...I figured she would say nothing but instead she hinted that it was an officer...🤔...kinda how she copped to the bank robbery, helped Hazel get out. Still pissed about Patty tho😠 I've watched the series before, but damn there are so many episodes, you tend to forget ALOT of details!
How the hell can Judy be the careers officer? Isn't that classified as a skilled job? From her own admission, the only thing she is qualified to do is drive a taxi. The writing is starting to get very sloppy.
Jude can't even drive in real life.
@@lamontbradford4630 yes! She never got her licence or drove in her life!
I didn't think Nola could get any uglier. I was wrong lol
Nola as a character doesn't necessarily scare me but the fact she reminds me of Regan from the Exorcist does 😱
I'm getting the distinct impression Bea's no match for Nola, unless she uses subterfuge, help from friends, etc. Nola gives the physical (& psychological) impression, on the other hand, she could kill two birds w one stone, if you'll pardon the expression.
U kidding Jude or Bea or Myra would bash Nola
@@grecosgreecedaz6026 Judy? You have to be joking, Margo had her begging on her knees, Sandy easily handled her too. She's just fat.
The actress playing Faye was one of the writers and was married to the creator of Prisoner...
My old granny could have given Nola a harder beating than that weak lot did. I'm surprised Nola didn't give them a serve, she's tougher than all of them put together
whats the bit in the paper nola referred to last episode when she said she wasnt worried about going to WA??? It was cut out the paper but never brought up again.
That bottle what Lizzie is holding when she's asking about getting better shampoo looks more like a mouthwash bottle
Lizzy as a brain surgeon 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Didn't know Judy could fight wow
Judy can fight she beat nola and fergo
I think Nola would of had Bea and look at that Maxine openly lagging
Gee Nola looks like the girl from the Exorcist :/
6/12/19 - Faye Quinn. One of my favourite's.
Faye is an idiot.
Damn! Nola slapped the shit out of Maxine!
Nolan, exorcist, spit pea soup lol, ha havha
And if they had done cpr on the girl Nola murdered when she first came out of the sink she prob would've survived.
That's just what I thought too.
How can CPR work on exploded lungs though?🤔
What about the sister smashing the vase on Judy's head? Impersonating her etc..she should have got locked up 😅
Love the way Lizzy holds a cigeret in her mouth
Nola makes Nolene Burke look pretty
lol....that IS funny. However, can not say I agree. Nolene was the nastiest woman that I have seen on TV.
And one thing I never understood, if they wanted to get rid of the freak, all the women had to do was report her actions (i.e running the book) and she'd be a gonner. True, it's lagging, but as it's a screw, I'm sure the prisoner's code doesn't apply in this case?
Bashing , still makes me laugh when they say it,:-)
Just as I was getting excited of St Meg resigning - the prisoners strike and credibility goes out the window. Miss Lumberjack immediately becoming a social worker is laughable. Never mind the training course.
Nola McKenzie up's the ante on this one...
'Miss Lumberjack' haha. I like that :D
Come on....its not the first time DUMB Meg has resigned and return in the same damn episode. We can never get rid of that woman. At least Judy leaves eventually.
Milks25....I know...Meg causes me to grind my teeth...thanks for telling us we will be rid of Judy...I hope that means the end of the halfway house and get back to prison episodes
Spoiler: Meg is the only character to finish start to end.
Judy and Erica have a very nice special friendship. Going by her past, we can only assume Erica is stright but it would had been a lovely storyline if Erica had developed romantic feelings for Judy. They would has made a beautiful and powerful couple. It be good for Judy to had been with a woman closer in age.
The press looks brand new
The hung effigy is tied to what exactly? Pmfsl.
There goes the governor's wishy washy rules. Lol
Seems to me these bashings all have a life of Their Own :when Bea and Chrissie bashed Margo's face onto the table there were no bruises no swelling even though Margo was bleeding from her mouth; yet this group of women bash Nola ( the blows they were throwing wouldn't hurt a 10 year old) yet she's all battered and bruised now.
