I love Maxine and Lizzie as a comedic team. Hilarious 😂😂😂
Ive come to love Po face with her sarcastic remarks to the prisoners and sometimes staff especially when it refers to Joan Ferguson
I guess I am kind of off topic but does anyone know a good place to watch new series online ?
@Fox Brayden I use Flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Thomas Ray Definitely, I've been using Flixzone for since april myself :D
@Thomas Ray Thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service =) I really appreciate it !
@Fox Brayden Happy to help :D
This was an action packed episode...the show was at its best here.
Insurance and tax have never been so gripping 🤣
Great to see Bea actually do something and remind people what she's capable of
Yes, and that's why even other prisons around Australia know of her and she is considered "the Great Bea Smith"
Maxine thinking she can take on Nola lol
10 outta 10 for observation from that screw during fays visit, her fella looked at her before takin his money out and passed it over, then blatantly said about chucking stuff over the fence, the guy could of whipped his todger out and slapped fay round the face and she wouldn't of noticed a thing
I think that was a deleted scene lol
+Juan Rodriguez LOL!
Fay needs a good slamin
Cell Block XXX
lol at leather craft for the enthusiast crack
lmao, pretty funny
Hilarious. Nolas a crack up
Lizzie is absolutely hilarious! Best EVER character in the whole show.
I'm still cracking up on the last episode, "careful Bea! She's built like a brick dunny!" 😆😅😂🤣
Most of the viewers, would certainly agree.
Lizzie has been my favourite character right from the very start and over 300 episodes later she still is.
This is one of the better episodes I've seen in awhile of this show. I love the insurance policy scheme and that ending with Bea finally getting her revenge was brilliant.
Great episode. I was surprised at what Bea did. I love how Lizzie is playing Faye. It serves her right.
Well, Bea did burn cry baby's hand in the pilot episode, so this action is not out of her realm.
Milks25 Lynn Warner a cry baby? Nooooooo.....lol
Queen bea has style!!
"Yes Mrs Powell"
nola looks like reagen from the exorcist
41:35
I have to laugh when Bea slams the door into Nola. And the look on Nola's ugly mugg when it bounces off the door. I even played those few seconds back a few times, just to see it again 😂
Ozlass 777 CANT DO NO HARM TO THAT UGLY FACE.
$90,000 wouldn't buy a shoebox in Melbourne today let alone a big 2 storey inner suburbs house.
Brandon Quatro INFO ON THE HOUSE SUPPOSEDLY THAT WAS REG GRUNDYS HOUSE IN REAL LIFE.
Early eighties houses were around fifty to sixty thousand.
342 episodes in and i can finally remember a scene, i remember watching the branding scene as a youngster in the early 90's, lots of great characters to come yet, Lou, Reb etc, the Bea and Nola storyline has a cracking ending too if i remember right.
Can't wait.
I look forward to that.
Were you watching on one of the UK regional ITV channels?
Scott Leicester You said 90's the show was done by 86 was it not , you must haver been watching reruns by that time.
The previous episode isn't available this uploader's playlist, although I watched another version of it, the "brightened-up" one, although the picture quality was poor.
Just watched the bleached out version 😂 I think that channel was OK for earlier episodes (though I never watched them as was too bright) 😂
I skipped it. Hate the brightened-up episodes.
Yeh I decided to skip it. 💁🏻♂️
I'm grateful to have the alternative to fill in the series. Between the channels we've received a gift. Truly brightens my day!
Yep me too. And yes dreadful quality on the other one but thankful to see it all the same.
The way Bea made sure to let The Freak's plan backfire... lmao. Brill! BRILL!
Po face takes the soap off Maxi, checks it out a few times over and doesn't notice the split where the razor blades put in?? It's so obvious when Nola picks it up.
Fay's 'heavies' are only one step away from a retirement home.
Best to play the episodes before reading our comments....to avoid spoilers 🤣🤣
Lol I've just realised that
Nola really does look like Reagan from exorcist... Very scary resemblance
lol......thought I was the only one that noticed that. Thought that years ago when i first saw her. Sooooo true!
Wait until you see Myra Desmond's daughter Kaye later on. She looks like Ragan to me. No spoilers for first timers.
I saw the actress, who played Reagan, in The Exorcist. The actress, Linda Blair, played a sheriff; in a Super Natural episode, approximately 30 yeas later. The 2 actresses would be about the same age. They look identical
Blimey i have never known Babs to say so much in one episode as for Quinn's two heavy's in the shower block they looked like Crab and Goyle from Harry Potter.
maxine's personality changed with her hair cut.
How has it changed? Less silly?
Yeah I find she is less hyper or something as the series went on
Her Doreen act was stupid so they tried to change her up
Yeah, the "new" Maxine sucks. And that rotten hair cut makes her look like a delinquent 15 year old school boy for goodness sake!
one of the best scenes in the show at 39 mins
Well it's about time Bea sorted out Nola !
Still, hard to believe Bea left the door open. Not credible, so the pleasure we get is just a tad compromised.
Oh just appreciate the fact that Bea gave Nola what she deserved. It didn't have to be on your terms, mckavitt
Nola can have no complaints, she had been warned enough times by Bea that she would get her, but she persisted in underestimating her and got stung badly. She walked straight into that trap, which was surprising considering she is intelligent and knew full well that Bea was after revenge for Paddy. The first attempt in the sink would have been ideal, this way she gets to stay alive but she must suffer in a big way, so that'll do. Enjoyable episode.
Oh Judy, you seriously agreed to a house and you haven't even got your inheritance cheque yet? Then not even knowing what "Gross" means? Not very bright.
3:29 genius heres one for you leather craft for the enthusiast, is that a refernece to her gloves or just a totally random thing to say? gave me a chortle.
Radiant Silver Labs... i think it might be a bondage reference lol xxx
Radiant Silver Labs Did not even think about the gloves good thinking
10:15 "Yeah, well this is more like it!" If Jude buys that posh address for the new halfway house, prisoners coming to stay there will never want to leave. They'll end up only going halfway.
Epic revenge. Love it bea. Thts for paddy bit@h
Why was episode 341 deleted? Thank god for the channel Brightening up the Cell Block. You can find every single episode on there
Yes I had to hunt for it
Wow, the "branding with hot iron" episode
The part with Maxi and Powell made me LOL.
I like this Mrs Powell :). Fav ‘screw’ will always be Meg but Powell takes no b.s. and can ‘manage’ the prisoners in different situations
I love her sarcasm. Bloody funny.
Of course the damn floors are always dirty when you have people constantly walking on them
"I'm not talking about Tina Turner or The Pointer Sisters" 😂
I love how all the cell doors are clearly made from wood.
Scott Leicester THATS BECAUSE THE WHOLE STORY IS BEING FILMED IN GRUNDY STUDIOS. ONE THING I FOUND OUT WHEN EVERYONE IS WALKING THROUGH THE HALL WAYS THERE ACTUALLY GOING IN A CIRCLE.
spectrumlocalb191 Oh yea!!!! Mind blown. 😀
Not 'clearly'.
Insurance lol that Nola
The first Scott Robinson from Neighbours.
Sadly Darius Perkins passed away just a couple of days ago. He was only 54 :(
Good shout Darius Perkins I think played a thug in home and away too if I remember right
@@VictoriaBitter1976 He sure was a handsome man. 😪😭
A seminal scene at the end. One of the top 5 in the series' history. And it's just the start as first Nola, then Bea each up the ante. Arguably there are no winners here, however.
I love Nola she just never takes a break from being Nola
I THOUGHT BEA WAS GOING TO ELECTRECUTE NOLA WITH THE IRON ON THE FLOOR AND THE WATER.
the infamous branding scene
Tina turner pointer sisters lol
is it just me or does noela look like ron Pearlman from sons of anarchy/hellboy lol ???
She reminds me a bit of Regan from The Exorcist actually :L
+gemma brennan I think the same thing!
....NOLA looks more Aboriginal than Perelman...
HA! I loved that. But it could be a possibility you know. Much later on, there's a girl that is imprisoned named Sarah. her mum was Aboriginal and her father was a Jackaroo
+Sheri451 Sarah West the little wildcat in 1986. I did enjoy those 1986 episodes with her and Spider and Kath and Rita💣🍻
Burn Baby, Burn!!!!
BEA ROCKS!!!
Indeed. She's truly awesome!!!!
What did the K stand for? Or am I missing something?
Rachael Lamport K for killer seems appropriate.
So a classic scene from PCBH that i remember years ago when Bea uses a branding iron, (looks like a soldering iron to me) on Nola to write a letter 'K' for killer because of Paddy's death.
Episodes 300-400 the Greatest Era
Note that the "Hairdresser" for the 1982 episodes is a certain Christine Harris - she will later appear in Prisoner as Anne Reynolds' daughter, Pippa, in the 1985 season.
Leathercraft for the enthusiast....😂
Yes, I caught that too, nice touch, perfect for the Freak.
It's good to see "top dog" Bea as the "underdog" vs that witch Nola... and I'm always rooting for Bea when she scores one against Nola, like with that mini bashing followed by the branding! And before that when she elbowed Nola and got her ready for a drowning. Go on Bea! lol
You know rooting has a different meaning in Australia don't you? 😂
@@jamesstewart7736 I know, I live near "Wentworth" lol. And not that kind of rooting mate!
@@josephd.2725 any port in a storm though 🤣
McKenzie sounds a bit like the freak
Freak and Furgsen suit each other
Yes, I have been thinking the same thing. I wonder if it's a regional accent or what.
Loving Bea's ninja moves @ 39min
Rest In Peace Eternal Darius Perkins “ Trevor” ❤️👍
This is my third time around and this time I notice that not all the episodes are on this channel. There’s another channel that has the missing episodes but the viewing is terrible. I’m hoping they aren’t being removed. Is anyone else having this problem?
Lisa Ann Hirschbuhl THE OTHERS ARE MASTERS FROM DVDS THESE WERE FROM VIDEO TAPE
I had the same problem. Looks like we will have to watch episode 341 on the other channel from now on!
Well, the writers certainly knew how to build up tension. I feel stressed in every episode. It's like waiting for Krakatoa to blow.
Lizzie Birdsworth is an abosulte genius!
Bea proved in this episode that Nola was no match for her in a one on one confrontation.
Nola's "killer" boots! lol
Looking at Nola's boots after taking out the plastic bags of tobacco, you realize that despite the institutional uniform they have to wear, they still get to keep their own footwear. Is that standard prison policy? Wouldn't they be issued institutional shoes as well?
agree on that. Chrissie Latham was wearing stilettos in her last few episodes..dangerous footwear!
It was the 80's. Things may have been done differently back then?
39:49 love this music
Image maker by Tom Elliot. Awesome theme. First used when Judy was chased down the steps to flat by Jock Stewart.
I think that its safe to say that its on! between Nola and Bea!!!
I must say, the makeup department was doing really well with continuity at this point wrt Nola's facial bruises....😮
39:38 Nola really should look for a new job 😂😂😂💀
I don't get why Erica tells Jude she has half the deposit, when she actually has almost the full amount???????
I know then apparently judes owns nothing and it belongs to those bastards cause when your a prisoner every thing belongs to the department hello?? huh??? its funny down the track judes walks away like she never owned anything confussing.
If Judy was smart she would have bought a place and rented it out and the rent money could help fund the halfway house, or even a term deposit gave 10℅ interest back then. The already halfway house had the rent paid for by the department, don't know why Judy would buy a halfway house.
PrisonerCellBlockH95
Why did Episode 341 get deleted?
No one knows! Until they know. And I don't know.
It's on the other channel. Brightening up the cell block. A bit bright tho. 😎
Anna Sassin
What other channel?
@@sondralee8539 it's called Brightening up the cell block. Dr
Someone else with a username of Midnight has uploaded it
The poor boy looks scared of his own shadow to me. Nola gets to get the poopy nappies from maternity. Nope, it will be Maxie to bring them to the laundry.
Sweet revenge from Bea.
Once again stretching credulity: Colleen ,with all of her background and knowledge, should have known that Maxine was up to something and should have investigated the soap . it was done to another prisoner in a very early episode when she was in the shower block. She started to wash and was cut by the razor in her soap .so it was not an uncommon practice to be used by one prisoner on another. How does Bea get an electric soldering iron? again stretching credulity but great for the dramatic effect.
Lizzie's acting job at 42:10. lmao
🙂I know some people not agree. But both Bea & Rita where both the best top dogs of wentworth.😃🙂😉- Always will be.
Best top dogs were Rita Connors and Myra Desmond.
Best top dog Rita the beater
Bea was the best. Playing that same character for five seasons would be hard. Val Lehman was brilliant in the role. And she got on well with Carole Skinner
Maxine being tough😂😂😂😂
I thought that Nola was assigned to the Garden- to keep her separated from Bea and the other Prisoners...
Estate agents don't decide the final price.....unrealistic storylines but great viewing all the same.
david Felix
So long as the agent has made sure that the price that Judy is offering, is above the asking price of the person selling the property. Then that's the main thing.
Anything above the sellers asking price would have gone to the estate agent for fees etc.
david Felix IN AUSTRAILIA THEY DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO ALTER HOUSE RATES PLUS I HAVE A FEELING HE WAS TRYING TO DUMP THE HOUSE.
And I doubt you'd get the keys before you paid for it 😂
This is why I love prisoner
sharing all the love we'd known
Drawing all over Nola with a soldering iron. Points for originality Bea. It hardly put an end to the incredible hulk though.
It's all very complicated. If an inmate tells Erica that a screw has mistreated them, she asks for "evidence" yet is willing to take a prisoner's word for it when it comes to inmate bashing inmate. Inconsistent at best.
Ooooh a branding!!!! :-D Nice!! I approve. Good on ya Bea! xoxo
Also used in Orange is The New Black on Piper. Better than a bashing for sending a message.
Oh and the Branding of Frank Burke later, By Myra.
I thought Nola was suppose to be tough, Bea took her down with ease
Easy to take someone down when you sneak attack them from behind.
Nora's right about Bea's losing steam. The other women have seen the light. Lizzie says Bea could take Nola on w one hand tied behind her back? Make me laugh. I wish Bea had it in her, but Nola's crafty too & twice the heavy Bea is. What's good about their hostility is that Bea does have heart, whereas Nola must have a clock in there for a ticker. The same w Meg vs. the Freak. Meg's strength is good to see in the (hideous) face of Freak evil.
As Nola said, it wasn't Bea's lucky day, at least not at that stage anyway. Had it not been for Powell's untimely entrance, Nola would have been finished in the same way Paddy was. Glad Bea got her in the end anyway. Obviously, it never resulted in her death like the first attempt could have, but this way she suffered extreme pain, and I'm sure that was satisfying consolation for Bea anyway.
Well other than Judy (the original one pre-pacemaker) no one was ever able to stand up to Bea. Nola's fight scenes with Bea are always forced as you can see Nola moving to help Bea. Just like whenever anyone hold Judy against a drier, Betty Bobbitt is so big the actress has to walk over with them.
Mark.. because it's called ACTING.
If they literally threw each other around and beat the crap out of each other, they'd end up putting in a revolving door at the hospital entrance for them.
Hells bells, that is some punishment Bea.
Yeah Bea!
Sherry Lynn Young commented on here two years ago about Nola crying like a baby, well I would probably do the same thing. If someone burned me with a soldering iron. And get sick to my stomach the same as Faye too.
+Sheri451 ...appropriate....
Yes .
young man...darius perkins! aka the original Scott Robinson in neighbours
Colleen hear them chatting about policy payout lol
So someone with the size & strength of Nola is going to sit still for a branding from Bea?
Okaaay....
Bea was sat on top of her so she did not have much choice.
Bea was sat on top of her so she did not have much choice.
Agree, watch Bea and Nola's fight scene, the actress playing Nola has to help Bea because she's too big.
Just because someone is bigger, doesn't necessarily make them stronger and tougher. That's the difference between fat and muscle. And Nola's all fat.
SoapsNthings SHE HAD HER HEAD RAMMED AGAINST THE WALL WOULD YOU BE TO TOTALLY COHERENT.
i thought when Kate/Marie/Sandy was the show at its height - but I think this season tops it. Amazed that Davo spends so much time in the Halfway house - I thought there was a rule when prison governors cant associate it with ex prisoners
Steven Cassidy
In theory, you could say the same thing about Judy associating with any ex-cons as well. But Judy has become much more than just a mere ex-con though.
There is no American Estate Tax unless you get more than $250,000.00 !
For all those looking for episode 341 another user called midnight has it on their page.
Well, looks like things are certainly hotting up ! (excusey)
it would be great if Nola and Bea teamed up against the Freak.
Patrick Nabors I THOUGHT THAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AT FIRST TO BUT THE CHARACTER NOLA WAS BEING WRITTEN OUT
Id rather team up with Attila the hun..
Faye Quin's return and her rather dull storyline is in fact last minute "filler" due to the sudden departure of Ken James, who played the shortlived social worker, who was originally intended as a longterm character.
Much like when Jane Clifton as Margo was quickly written out to go on a tour with her band, Anne Lucas stepped in to play Faye Quin and fill the screentime originally written around the new social worker that all had to be scrapped. Some of the background extras all get lines over the next few episodes as well.
McKenzie is really a damaged character. According to her story she told, likely the product of neglect and beatings who has simply lost control and now no longer cares.
Agreed. It's easy to miss the little hints Nola gives that she could have been a good wife and mother had life not turned out the way it did for her. She's now way past the point of redemption but she wasn't born bad like some are, she's an (extreme) product of her environment. Not excusing her actions, just saying pay attention to those little hints she drops in her early appearances.
Blimey Lil jacko and babs get the chance to speak, why not let the background screws have a voice as well
Christopher Thom So far, in 342 episodes, Officer ' Mute' Barfield has never said a word.
Chris.C maybe she is literally a mute!!
Christopher Thom I've been saying that since the beginning, and who made The Freak boss she tells the other voiceless guards what to do.
@@chris.c9885 has Tina Murrary spoken yet?
Nola looks a lot like Ron Perlman. Wonder if they're related.
Isn't that the cute young man that passed away two years ago?
40:30: Yes Mrs Powell, Yes Mrs Powell. Yes Mrs Powell. LOOOOOOOL :)
Listen! I don’t like the tone in your voice :)
Damn, I watched this episode 7 years ago and watching again today
Over here, they sell single cigarettes in what we call convenience stores, probably the same thing as a milk bar, for a dollar a piece. And I see that people say they couldn't buy a decent home for under $100.000 dollars now, well it's the same here. They all say "Starting in the mid 150s", and that's for a small home that would be for a family of four. My late grandpa built his own house way back in 1960, using the cheapest lumber he could find, and forty-years later, the house was mice, cockroach and termite infested and falling down. After he died, they sold the pile of crap for $25.000 dollars. The house was sold as a "fixer upper" the people that bought it had the place stripped down to the original shell, the place was one of those pre fabricated things that came out in the 1950s, they had to re build the floors, ceilings, walls and plumbing.
.....jeez....how about...a tent instead ?
That would have been better than that house.
+Sheri451 House prices in america are about 60% cheaper than prices here in Australia. I stayed at a friends apartment in Florida that cost her 150k. Fro the same flat in a similar equivalent convenient location would be 500k plus. My partner and I are so thinking of buying a house in the US and renting it out.
WOW! I thought Australia would be a cheaper location to live.
Our house prices may be higher in Australia. But our minimum wage is higher in Australia too.
The insurance scheme clever? They're not in prison for singing off key in the church choir. Of course they'll rip it off.
Is it wrong to feel a little bit sorry for Nola at this point
