Starting a new job next week. Back when I drank I’d be filled with anxiety for this big step but right now I’m confident and feel good about the future.

Congrats on your new job! It's so much easier to stay on top of things sober. Keep up the good work!

Hard to believe these vids will soon end, but helping me to make a HUGE decision and that is to quit once and for all as i am indeed still drinking, but not nearly as much as i used to. I'm now down to once a week vs. 7 nights a week and for me, that's HUGE! So if i can just quit that once a week dumb choice, then i got this poison beat once and for all. You look fantastic from your day 1 video to now. Amazing job! Proud of you and i know your family is too. Have a super day Nate! -Bob

I’m coming up on a year and feel better than ever. So glad I put the poison down.

I kind of feel your putting yourself on a pedestal and being derogatory by saying it’s ’sad’ for those of us who are trying to give up alcohol addiction but haven’t yet succeeded, we may still live good, productive lives, although know our lives could be better without the poison. I was kind of hoping for a more positive message when clicking on this.
And how does drinking make you become less ‘educated’, that doesn’t make sense.
Plenty of well educated people hold down responsible jobs, work hard and can be very fit.
You might also want to fix that wobble in your camera or chair that’s distracting.
Congratulations on your sobriety, but I think you need to sharpen your messaging.

It is sad when people don't live up to their full potential. Sometimes a negative message is what people need to hear. A "You can do it!" message only goes so far, but I've done plenty of those videos as well.
Alcohol dulls the mind and being stuck in the same drinking cycle over and over again keeps us from expanding our lives and learning new things.
The camera does have a bit of a wobble on the videos I do with the selfie stick. Most days I use the tri-pod, but doing these videos every day over the last 348 days I have to do some of them "on the go."
All the best to you on your journey.

@@sauceainttheboss Thanks for replying and with the positive message. You’re spot on and I was being negative, you know why, so I’ll go and watch more of your videos, keep comments to myself and hopefully get back to you when I’m sober and my life is better ☺️🤞
