I picked up that issue in the 80's from the Recycle Center Book Store, in Newbury Park. Near were the Malibu Comics offices where.

Believe it or not, Steve Ditko created this armor! Tales of Suspense #48 was its first appearance. Around issue 54 the helmet got slightly revised to fully realize the armor on this cover.
