Oh wow!!! You did such a great job explaining and carefully showing how to change all the bulbs. My map lights were out, so I replaced all of them with a new set of LED bulbs. What a difference!!! I can’t thank you enough for posting this video!

Unfortunately, honda pilot 2019 did not make all their interior lights LED. So, I just ordered my premium LED package after watching this video. Thank you for the tutorial... it's a big help. PrecisionLED is definitely - a one stop shop for your vehicle lighting needs!

Suggestion for future videos (this was great btw): You should name the bulb size, shape/type, and lumens as you're installing them. I actually have a 2011 Honda Pilot so this would've been very helpful info as I am making a list to replace all my bulbs eventually with LEDs!

This video is super awesome, but one thing confused me:
The rear (backseat) interior dome light: You called it another 5730 bulb?... but that appears to be a 194 aka 168 T10 wedge bulb. The 5730 for the front map lights is the cylinder style bulb with contacts on either end, but this rear dome appears to just be a 194 wedge correct?
5730 is just the technology used for our Premium like LEDs. I.e. our Premium 194 (T10) fitment is called a 5730 T10 or 194.
do the LED glow or light up a bit even with the lights are off? I know LED tend to do this … ?

What color temp. are these bulbs in the video?
The bulbs installed in the video would be the 6000K color.

Thank you for your interest. I would imagine the installation process would be very similar, if not identical to as shown on the video. However, I cannot answer you with 100% certainty, as we have not yet gotten our hands on a 2016 Pilot yet. We will keep an eye out for one out here in Los Angeles.

Won't the LED lights burn-out the electrical clips & wires the lights are attached to and throw-off the electrical system?
Good question. I did one of the interior lights in my old 08 Accord Coupe & it blew out the receptacle. I'd like to know how long these lasted and if there were any similar issues.

We only sell high quality Canbus LEDs to ensure you do not experience any dash errors, flickering, or other issues. Longevity varies depending on use, however, on average, I would say that the LEDs would last 4-5 years. We back all of our products with a 1 year warranty.
I want to put out a PSA... keep the vanity mirrors oem. Trust me. Did LEDs once and blinds you can never see pass the brightness of the light to see yourself in the mirror. lol
Lol! You can always choose to install the standard LEDs, which are not as bright as the premiums.
I have a 2015 pilot touring and the rear doors have red reflectors and no bulb harness
You would need to have existing rear door lights in order to upgrade to LEDs.

Do the interior lights still dim when the doors shut or do they just turn off?
Hi! Yes, our LEDs will indeed dim on/off. They are designed to act exactly as your halogens do.
What the difference of standard and premium?
The new Premium 5730SMD LED bulbs are the next generation of new LEDs. Compared to the older 5050SMDs, these LEDs have 3 times the light output per LED. The 5730 LED chip is designed for maximum light output while the aluminum housing helps to dissipate heat effectively for the longevity of the bulb. The new 5730SMD LEDs have a Constant Current Circuit design which helps maintain brightness if the voltage fluctuates within the circuit and has voltage surge protection up to 18V. And of course, all of our interior 5730 LEDs are backed by our lifetime warranty.
