Bc everyone likes to customize and break in their pointe shoes differently, so if there were pointe shoes you could wear right out the bag it wouldnt feel right to everyone. 😽
I don't think you're technically 'supposed' to break them in like that. I started pointe this year and my instructor said that you'd only do that with a new pair that you need to wear on stage, and for in the class you don't do anything to them and just let dancing do the breaking in. I was kinda sad that I didn't get to break them in like you see in videos to be honest 😅
@@campbellbaintheloony honestly, from what I’ve heard from my instructor, it’s mostly that when you just get en pointe, you don’t know what you will need from your shoes, so it’s best to dance in them to help you figure out how the shoes need to be changed to adapt better to you Also a lot of the people you see tearing their shoes apart and stuff work at companies that provide them with shoes, so people who get their own shoes can’t be as reckless and risk breaking the shoe completely because of how much they cost and stuff
Depending on the supplier, they could be out. Every creator has a signature and sometimes they aren’t able to work as much as they once did or perhaps other dancers really like the regular shank. There’s a shortage of shoes and it can affect people here & there
Raise your hand if you want her and Josephine from the Pointe Shop do a fitting.🙋♀️

My anxiety when she said they gave her the wrong pair went uppppppp but then the end was B-E-A-U-TI-FUL!!

Here before this vid goes viral
What company do you dance for?!!
Golden State ballet in San Diego
Can ballet shoes only be worn once🤔🤔
Usually no, you reuse them 😊
how has nobody come up with a pointe shoe that you don't have to tear apart right out of the bag
I am a ballet dancer and everyone breaks in their pointe shoes how they like them it is different for everyone
Nah you customize them yourself. Not all destruction methods are equal lol

What if you don’t brake them in
pain.... lots and lots of pain.... at least for me lol
it is too hard to dance in them if you dont break them in
Может сразу выбрось? 😂 это же глупость так уменьшать возможность эксплуатировать пуанты
If they gave you the wrong pair, why wouldnt you return it before breaking them in?
I decided to just try them, theyre the same size just a harder shank

I swear, I'm so tired of the gen Z scratch and tap everything with their fingernails thing.
