The problem in thailand is you can buy the house but not the property the house is on. You have to be very careful in Thailand, otherwise it can happen that after a few years you can no longer come into your house because the rental contract for the property has expired. Often happened here, and you can say good bye to your house and your money. 😂
How long is the usufruct for? 99 years? 50 years?

I think you should have explained what materials are they made of. The bed size look smaller than Queens size. The kitchen cabinet is only a few. Bathroom don't use glass door. The house looks so so. It is new but the quality may not be good for the price.

U can open a company. U can make a usufruct when u buy it, by that u have the ownership of the house as long u are alive. There's many ways u can get around the law
Price is pretty cheap, at least by the Western standards.

From my experience, I don't want to lie to foreigners that it's worth it. in money price and rental price or live Because Hua Hin is a complete and good city, quiet, safe and beautiful, and the cost of living is considered very cheap for high-income people. what space? The living room is the front door. it's not even a full room. You need 4 walls to be a room.
Go out side and your face is two feet from a wall. This style house is just weird. I really hate this place. Why? I don't get it. Just ... why? It's so backwards. Every bit of me wants to just tear the whole place down and rebuild it "the normal way" It's as if they went out of their way to make it as weirdly disfunctional as possible. Who lives like this? You're going to do all of your living in your bedroom in this house. I mean even a straw hut is more sensible to live in than this place.

@@Novaximus i thought you were blowing smoke but holy moly the living room being next to the outdoors isn't the worst but it's so tiny. the whole interior is tiny. so much for moving international.
A pity about being able to see the neighbours windows very close to the bedroom. Also, the walls between houses are extremely low.

That is well worth having for a vacation home. I wonder if non residents can own land there? I also wonder if I'll find a squatter there if I only show up 3 times a year? Taxes couldn't be as bad as here.

In New Jersey, USA, you can't even buy first floor, one bath, small flat for $87K. A pickup truck cost almost as much as this one.
In Manhattan, the price would not even buy a parking spot.

Exactly, you can't. You "own" 49% and Thai people own 51%. You get 100% of all bills and hidden costs. Save yourself from this trap

Perfect retirement home at a great price. I wish they had communities like this in the USA, but if so, the price would be 300-500k plus with a big HOA fee every month. The stone and tile accents are really nice. Great presentation.
They have homes at this price at that size in other states. But the question is, are you willing to live there?

@@jamman7344 Indeed. This house is sh...t. People are easily fooled by nice tile and stupid pier one import decor. The living space is horrid. 3 bedrooms of that size makes no sense for this house. Could you image sharing that kitchen with 3 or more people? That's all the house is, that kitchen and you can't even count the "living room" as a room. FFS just look at it. It's the front door and you have a half wall 3 feet from it. That's like a foyer. Which is even stupider to have for a house this small. And they thought a pool would be a good use of space?! ha ha ha Nothing about this house makes any sense to me. Unless if you're using it as an Air BnB. You can charge for 3 bedrooms. Maybe two people per room.

You can't own property their that's what sucks
What is the bad part? Water quality? Taxes? Brown outs? Sewer or septic? Local noise level? Construction noises? Crime statistics? Hospital quality and location? Restaurant near by? Airport nearby? The list is long for the unexpected bad qualities. You cannot assume too much.
Foreigners can only own condos in Thailand.

Very good price for a beautifull home like that ! Not that expensive and renting these over 5-10 years would got all your money back ! If i've got my money loan I would gladly buy this and rent this to a cheap price to get full of customers. In my country, home like that would cost 1 000 000 $....

$87.000 is a very cheap price with the Thai average income. In Vietnam (my country) the house like this never priced under $100.000 while we have lower income compare to Thailand.

@@rexgamewell hi, as many other places on the world, the inequality is rising up quickly in my country although we're just a developing country. I think it will be so difficult to buy a house in the future especially for later generation like Z or Alpha. FYI, average income in Vietnam is $2700 and the super cheap house at the rural or suburban of a small town is around $50.000 (illegal house). A simple medium house (around 60-80m2 building, 125-150m2 land) in a small city/town will cost at least $100.000.
The pricing of real estate in Vietnam is rising up very fast and it's a big problem for younger people to afford them in the future.
Answer your question, no, my saving is not enough to buy this house.

Missing closets in each bedroom. This house would be better divided if you removed one bedroom and utilized the space for small closets , bigger kitchen/dining room and a laundry room would be helpful as well.
they're not missing they just don't build houses western style. If you want those things you need to pay more than $87k

This house had a woeful lounge area, no dining area, a cheap looking kitchen, 2 small bedrooms, andno closets....but I guess you get what you pay for.
