Few issues. First the development is to cookies cutter. No green space, unless they'll add some after the development is fully done.
The bathrooms are also a bit small and need to enclose the showers. Also prob best for st least one bathtub, which would be someone with small kids would want/need or adults who want a nice relaxing bath.

for the price looks good. Only problem is as a foreigner I can not buy unless I have a Thai wife, and I don't want that. Or is it the same as a condo?

What farang, their right mind, would buy that if they can't own the land? Rental, for farang, is the only logical choice
There are ways around that but you need to get a lawyer involved.

@keithd1219 there's no real way around it. You can start a business and have the business own it, but the land will never be owned by a foreigner. Even if you marry a Thai person, a foreigner can only own 49%, while the Thai person owns 51%.
@@REALenvizible True but you can negotiate a land lease agreement. Besides, I plan on marrying a Thai girl, giving her the house and then eventually get kicked out by her and her boyfriend I didn't know about and live on the beach rent free 😆

Foreigners cannot own the land the property is built on. Usually one can lease the property from the developer or owner for 30 years which can be renewed for another 30 years and again for a further 30 years giving 90 years in total.
109,000.00 U.S.? that's so high! Homes in the U.S. are 436,800.00 on average as of 7/10/2023. There are much better deals that we can consider investing our money on here in the states. If we were to take money and purchase it anywhere in Thailand, it would not be this home. I'm in disbelieve on some of the pricing I see not just for this home but along all condos and houses being offered from channels promoting them on RUclips.
You can create a company then a company owns it
But as a foreigner, you cannot own the company ( just 49% and 51% for a Thai person ), so you will never own totally the land !!!
@@SuperClement01 I love Thailand. I have considered moving many times. But, I can't be asked to live there at these asking prices. They are counting on outsiders to come, raise prices that ony foreigners can afford then... we are never owners? To live there forever, I would have to at least get more economical pricing. The air quality in Thailand is also terrible. I don't mind when I visit.....but to be there long term? At least offer me a good deal. Pricing is off. It just does not match home pricing around the world. Asking price Is to high in my opinion.

Kitchen kinda blows
Wow, a lot of criticism about this house in the comments. I thought it was a good deal and also the location was very good, very close to hua hin. Not thrilled about the bathroom showers but you can always glass enclose them. Overall, excellent presentation and i thought a very good deal.

Her English is good, but I think someone should work with her on her descriptive vocabulary.
She looks very uncomfortable when the camera comes in for a close up, which seems to be too close. Anyone would look/feel that way.
As for the home ...it was okay. I did not like the kitchen at all. Not because it was not finished, but because the cabinets were ugly. The pool area was nice. The wet bathroom is not my style, but I understand it's a thing there so such as life.

No storage in the kitchen as well, and even worse you can hardly improve it on your own. Sorry but tis house is absolutely unsufficient inspite of the nice swimming pool.

You should explain how farangs can buy in Thailand. I understand farangs can't own propertes there so what is the property payments since you are renting from a Thai? Also include some video images of the area like for shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
